Fun quote attributed to Vince. This was prior to the Monday Night Wars. When asked if he ever worried about some one doing to him what he did to others. Supposedly he said "When I go I will be eaten by the biggest baddest predator on the block. And I'm going to make sure he chokes on me on the way down." Truly one of a kind.

If his stories about his childhood are true, Vince McMahon is probably the kind of guy who never knew and never will know "enough." He can find success, maybe even genuine love, but no matter what he accomplishes and no matter how much money he has there will always be a hole in his soul gnawing at him from the inside and making him feel insecure. No amount of control and no amount of money will ever fill that hole, never make him feel secure. John D. MacArthur was like that. Elon Musk is probably like that. It's the sad truth to a lot of "rags to riches" stories.

And Andre…. Not a mention of the literal biggest attraction in wrestling history…. Andre the Giant. Every other territory relied on getting in Andre to make or break their entire year. They would send their best guys to wwf and vine snr sent Andre so that talent trade also helped to establish the wwf as Andre became globally famous and then Jnr was able to piggy back the Hulkster on Andre and eventually get to Wrestlemania 3, the only actual financial success. The previous ones had only broken even, they were great for getting the brand out there but number three was the. If one, Hulk be Andre, it was a great match that still stands up today as a great match. My 9 yr old watched it and said it looked more real than anything in todays wrestling… she think modern wrestling is acrobatics that is pretend fighting mixed together…. Me T also doesn’t get a mention, the A-team as also every kids favourite show, the action was great; characters..perfect, mr T was the only member of the cast who didn’t audition, he was the star, putting him and hulk together was a match made in heaven, that got every kid in the western world and European markets watching the wwf!
