His lungs had white spots, he had to be intubated twice. Got so bad, that the doctors just did an emergency tracheostomy. We thought that was it, but we prayed and he hung on for dear life. Three months later, he was back home, did therapy and he’s walking, albeit still weak, but he was the first in the family to get the vaccines and he put his foot down that we all get it too. Sad that we have patients so much smarter than their own doctors.

Those particular patients make me SICK!! They only cared more about their so-called freedom of choice than their own lives. Shame on them for still not learning their lessons.

@@green344 FYI, the vaccines HAVE kept me alive. The only reason I closed to get fully vaccinated because I was sick and tired of having to wear my mask everywhere I go and follow Covid protocols every single day and that I just want to have my large family gatherings and hugs back into my life. I only followed the health and safety protocols because I loved my family so very much that I would NEVER try to do anything that would put my family and friends at risk of getting or even dying of Covid intentionally and the last thing that I want is for ANY of them to die of Covid because of me. Believe me, I hate following health protocols and much as u do but I WOULD NEVER join a hate filled, violent, selfish and backstabbing cult like the Freedom Convoy. I would rather die of Covid than to put my family and those near and dear to me in danger of getting and dying of Covid. Is that so wrong??? U just don’t get at all at how serious and deadly this pandemic REALLY is until u lose that person in your life to Covid. Unlike u I genuinely care about what happens to other people not just for their own physical health but also their mental health and overall emotional and social well-being. U CANNOT understand what it REALLY TRULY means to really make sacrifices and put for your own needs and wants behind for the love and safety of others. That’s called selflessness and it’s something that we desperately need. These nurses and doctors have more common sense and more compassion and they DO KNOW what is best for people’s health because they sacrificed a-lot of their time and energy just to save many people’s lives from dying of Covid. And by the way, I’ve been fully vaccinated against the flu and Covid and I can 100% confirm that I’ve NEVER ONCE got injured or sick from them. The only thing I get every time I get vaccinated is just a sore and tender arm, that’s it. Nothing else. Don’t read and believe everything people say to u or wrote about. Also it’s okay to have different opinions just don’t be a jerk about it.

@@disneyfan9134 I’ll admit I didn’t read much of your comment but the first sentence was “I got vaccinated because of I was sick of having to wear a mask” so you was coerced? I didn’t wear a mask ever or get any jabs. Had covid, could barely tell.

@@green344 Well to tell u the truth I was soooo angry and disgusted that people at the freedom convoy were more than willing to put their lives and others at HIGH risk of getting Covid and threatened people who wore masks with violence that it made me just go batshit crazy with rage. I’m sorry about what I said. I guess I was just fucking pissed off at people who just simply don’t care about protecting others by joining the freedom convoy and spreading hatred, anger, and fear to everyone around them and only think of themselves. I just LOATHE seeing social injustice especially during the pandemic of people doing extremely hurtful, violent and selfish things to people. People who live in downtown Ottawa were absolutely scared SHITLESS of how the freedom convoy has been largely affecting their lives, their jobs, their mental health and their physical health and NONE OF THE PROTESTORS really understood or even care that their reckless and dangerous actions and severely impact those people because they’re ALL DEATHLY AFRAID of getting the Covid virus and dying from it, and especially from any of the freedom convoy protestors and their endless honking, loud music and people just acting all childish and immature to the point where the protestors just don’t really care about anyone else dying of Covid just because they want their so-called freedom. That’s just sad and pretty tragic and cringeworthy to watch t hat. THIS IS NOT THE COUNTRY I LOVED. Their hearts have become colder and harder towards their own men and I pity them deeply. I don’t want to EVER be involved in a protest that’s going to lead to anger, hatred, violence and threats and I just don’t take kindly to those kind of people at all!!! Freedom IS NOT ABOUT threatening people for wearing masks, honking horns and playing loud music in public and near downtown residence or even not wearing masks and protesting against vaccines. Freedom is about escaping from chaos and moving to a new country for a much better and happier life for yourself and for your family. It’s about making sacrifices and putting your own wants and needs aside and putting other’s needs first for the sake of protecting those u loved and for keep them safe and happy. It’s about doing the right thing even if we don’t like to do or that it was all just too much. It’s about people coming together and feeling what they need to feel by taking the time to fully listen and be more understanding, comforting, supportive, kinder and selfless not just to everyone else but to ourselves as well too.
