Problem is people panic as soon as the value starts to drop. If they played the long term games they'd probably come out on top. The irrational exuberance that people talk about when bubbles emerge is just a manifestation of the short term profit mindset and really stems down to greed. Exactly! Many "traders" believe that by regularly trading in cryptocurrency they might make steady and significant gains. But quite a few of these people would have obtained more money by just buying cryptocurrency and sitting on it. It takes a very talented trader indeed to make much more through trading then he would have by buying and holding.
