ALL THESE GUNS ARE IMPORTED BY THE BOURGEOISIE CLASS WHO BUYS THEM IN BLACK MARKET FOR THE LOW LOW AND TRAFFIC THEM TO HAITI AND SELL THEM FOR 10X THE AMOUNT THE PAID FOR IT AND THEY ARE FERMENTING AND PUSHING THE GANG WARS SO THEY CAN SELL WEAPONS AND HAITI IS FULL OF COPYCATS OF THE BOURGEOISIE CLASS SO WHEN THE AVERAGE POLICEMAN HEARD THAT THE WEAPONS TRADE BRING IN BIG MONEY,HE WILL CONFISCATE GUNS FROM GANG MEMBERS AND NOT REPORT IT OR THEM AND THEN TURN AROUND AND SELL IT IN THE BLACK MARKET,AND BEFORE U KNOW IT HE'S A CORRUPT COP WHO SELLS AND TRAFFIC WEAPONS,THE SAME GOES FOR ANYBODY WHO HAS ACCESS TO GUNS,MONEY,OR INFLUENCE, THEY WILL HUSTLE ANYTHING WORTH HUSTLING,ITS CRAZY BUT PDT JOVENEL WAS NEVER THE PROBLEM OF HAITI,HE TRIED TO GIVE HIS PEOPLE A BETTER SHOT BUT THE CORRUPT BOURGEOISIE NEVER WANTED THE MAJORITY BLACK TO EMANCIPATE.

And to add to your comment, its sad AF that there are people in this world who are that deranged. How evil could you be to murder an innocent child. You hate these stories because you feel powerless to help, and deep inside you believe you are a very powerful superhero. This is the psychological reason behind "blaming the victim" --- people have a very high regard for themselves but in reality cannot help the victims, they feel frustrated.

Having a 4 year old myself, I can’t stop thinking about that poor child. For a parent not to be able to protect their own child has to be one of the worst feelings. Sorrow so deep, the pain comes from deep down in the soul. I can’t stop thinking about how scared that poor little girl must’ve been. Why did they have to torture her? I was expecting, actually hoping the mother to say they let her child go when they realized she had no money.

The Haitian president was corrupt. But the problem with a corrupt leader is that the leader is powerless when someone offers his men more money than he can offer. His guards were clearly bribed, but this is the own presidents fault for creating the opportunity for that to happen. He gave drug gangs assault rifles to secure his power. He was bringing in a law that said the president could not face any legal consequences for any crime. He used gangs to intimidate protesters over the last two years. He caused his own problems by trying to consolidate thuggish, draconian power.

It could also be like in mexico. They like the cartels, need a government in order to thrive. No government, total chaos. Operations wont run smoothly like they did under a corrupt government keeping things from being chaotic in their world of operations. Transport a load of weapons across the country before and after the government collapses which was more profitable and easier and lowest risk? It goes against our thinking but crime thrives best in a stable environment, it is a business like any other.

Everyone in Haiti are upset whether they support the president or not . Do some research and they was protest in Haiti demanding justice.they wanted him to step down but we did not want to repeat history and the fact he was killed at his home we are a shame of it as a nation. Also, we didn’t want history to repeat itself because so far 4 president in Haiti had been assassinated.

In countries where corruption is endemic it is unfortunately way too easy to bribe any civil servant to conduct any atrocity towards a sovereign nation regardless of the targets political standing and influence. The clearest and most prevalent example of a country where a politician, journalist, and even ordinary citizens are a bribe away from their assassination or kidnapping is Mexico. The amount of journalists and politicians who have been assassinated immediately after publishing a story on corruption/cartel activities or their threatening existence via policy or campaign pledges is absolutely mind boggling and said group(s) would quickly be labeled as a terrorist organization by the US along with EU countries (Mexican drug cartels are terrorists and should be labeled as such in my opinion) as assassinating any politician due to their stances and potential policies is politically motivated yet that is the US' publicly stated excuse against designating the Sinaloa Cartel and CJNG as a terrorist organization as 95% of municipal governors and federal politicians are someway or another complicit in corruption regardless of them being aware that their staff or funders are compromised by cartel influence.
