You should have been more careful with the heat gun on the midsole. Those shoes are like 15 years old and the high heat will easily pop old air units.

VickAlmighty I need help . So I've been watching your videos for a LONG time & in many where you have older shoes (especially white bottoms) I seen you use a brass bristle brush to scrub the soles new . I got one & seemed to work great the first time , but now it seems to be leaving a stain when I use it . Is it a one & done use ? Cause it's basically BRAND NEW idk why it did this but now I got some shoes stained up more than before due to this . Curious if something I did wrong .

if you used the brush on suede, make sure to clean it very well to make sure there is no suede dye left and then use your clean brass brush to remove the stains

@@jakob.2is968 this was a brass brush that was only used a few times on the soles of shoes (like white AF1's) & rinsed when done everytime patted dry & sit on counter brushes faced down to drip any excess water off (instead of sitting & rusting the metal) . After a few times , I used them on another pair of AFI's with white soles & gave a rusted stain color on it that I now can't get off even wit a few treatments of SalonCare 40 😭 . Atleast it's the soles but still sucks & dont know why that happened , just wanna make sure to prevent this for future cleaning sessions .

If you’re just cleaning it and not putting it through the washer then just use a microfiber towel and pat it down to get all the excess water and solution off and let it dry and you’ll be good to go🙏
