I have spent thousands of dollars over the years on 1911 pistols, aimpoint glass that Larry highlighted on his channel. To this day, and thousands of rounds later, guns and glass are fully functional. Buy once, cry once.

Good advice! Regarding the setting for the intensity of the dot, I always adjust mine so that I can still see it clearly when I trigger my weapon light, because if I have to shoot someone in my house my Streamlight TLR-2G is very likely going to be on when I fire the shot. If the dot is bright enough that I can see it with that light on, it's also bright enough that I can see it outside in the daylight.

A huge part of idf mentalety about equipment is having every small piace of it secured with either a 550 cord or smaller ones for things like optic.

Well I think that is stupid, a good mount will not come off and if it should then you have iron backup sights. I prefer losing my sight over getting caught with my cable in stuff if shtf.

Is it really necessary to keep the Aimpoint turned on at all times when you have backup irons on? If the Aimpoint is your only method of sighting then sure, but in an emergency you could simply use the irons until you get an opportunity to flick that red dot on.
@Weakeyedominant7 жыл бұрын
Some people hust prefer it as they may not know exactly when they need to use their rifle. If someone starts shooting at you in the middle of the night the last thing you want to be doing is fumbling for the on switch.
