I enjoyed this puzzle a lot! I wasn’t very good at working out the clues though, and I’m not great at maths either 😆. When I get around to trying another one I’ll try and give myself more time to figure it out for myself. The rectangular pieces were just confusing to me, the instructions said to discard them, but I refused to as I couldn’t see the point of them being in there only to throw them away. I felt like it was trying to trick me! 😊 as it turns out though, they were completely superfluous! Thank you so much for watching 😍

He he! Yes, it was different that’s for sure - fun though 😃 I want to do another one at some point, maybe one of the slightly more difficult ones - although I struggled with this one so goodness knows how I’ll manage a harder one! 🤣

This was a fun one. I would like to try some more though. Maybe now I know the format a little more, I could try one of equal difficulty and see if I can fully work it out on my own 😆

I'm just going to enjoy people on KZbin doing these escape puzzles. Everytime I see someone doing them I'm more convinced I would not enjoy it. I'll enjoy Ravensburgers other puzzles

Those letters look like runes a precursor to the Latin alphabet

The symbols on the fireplace are mirrored. It is the number 2 1 5 7 It is so strange that for some people something is so clear and for others not. My first guess with the edge peaces was: Take them all out and do a new puzzle with them Math would be 5 + (30x8) = 275 so you should be correct with that.

I know, I kicked myself when I discovered that they were just mirrored numbers 😂 you are right about the edges and so was I to a certain extent, I just missed the crucial part out! My maths was off with that last one, I somehow got 290 or something like that, but I think I’d just worked out a number wrong. I’ll definitely do another one of these, and I think I’ll be more prepared now that I have done one. I really enjoyed it, but I need to give myself more time to figure things out next time though.
