Males of almost all deer species grow antlers, used to battle for females. But reindeer are the only species in which the females also grow them.

Oh Vicky, I wish I'd been around the day your 1st vid came out! There was no reason for anyone to make fun of you, reindeer aren't the same as the North American or Northern European deer that people commenting here are obviously used to. Reindeer are the only deer where the doe grows antlers normally. Although it is uncommon, does in other types of deer can also grown antlers, depending on their hormone levels .. & anyway, even if their incorrect assumptions had been right, I would've been happy to receive a Christmas card with 2 stags who love each other.

Lots of wonderful work -- and I think my favorite is the tag with the little girl. When you brushed the sky behind the blue glitter band it suddenly looked like a spectacular view of a winter ocean horizon. Stunning! Now if I could only figure out how to make that into a Christmas card. Such nice work, as always, Vicky. Thank you for all of it!

I love how you created the ice rink using the double sided tape, glitter and acetate! That was ideal for those of us who hate getting glitter every where after the card is made. :) I will definitely try that .

Love them all but I especially love the one with the blue glitter ice and the acetate! :) I love glitter but HATE when I get it all over me so that is a great tip! Usually I contain my glitter with glossy accent... :) Love the pure innocense girl too, so cute every time! Hugs from Stockholm!

Hi Vicki, You can put the antlers back on the deer. I'm thinking that this is a holiday card, and those are reindeer. Female reindeer have antlers. They are one of the only deer species that do. Tell your audience that. Maybe put some long eyelashes on the female reindeer for them. Yes I did Google it to make sure. The cards are lovely. I always enjoy watching you create. Thank you for sharing.
