@NoirSkyz8 жыл бұрын
was he not more popular before chance? Chance got on cuz of Gambino. Then toooooook off like a rocket. Vic signed to Roc Nation + Worked with Ye on U Mad + was featured on Wolves AND when removed off wolves, was demanded right back on that bitch. Man worked with Skrillex AND a modeled for Saint Laurent. I'm thinking he's not gonna BLOW up, but he'll eventually have a much bigger dedicated fan base if he continues to experiment with his sound. Down on My Luck, Innetape, Lose it, Drive Me Crazy.... he's very versatile.
@DunkusB3ndro8 жыл бұрын
NoirSkyz It's not whether or not he's worked with great artists or if he's signed to a huge label like roc nation, it's just he's still not that known. The dude doesn't even have a debut album out yet. He is going to blow up after Traffic, just watch it happen

@@LILSEMEN-rx3mh yeah, xxxtentacion was great, but he had his baggage that he seemed to avoid, he definitely did alot of charity, but he really would've had to work on himself too, no amount of other good deeds can make up for stuff like that, he was young, could've changed but we won't know. It's always better to act now and sort that stuff out, takes a real man, or person in general to admit they were wrong, no one's perfect and we shouldn't be ashamed of that, but we should always try to have our cards straight just incase the untimely disasters happen💯🤘

I love that Vic went about it this way, growth can only be achieved by accepting what's done, if the blame is always placed then you're forever gonna be stuck there, he owned it, confessed it, and moved on knowing its off his chest and he can better himself based off of those mistakes

Yall have to understand, yes what he did was tasteless, but he is not a hypocrite. A hypocrite is someone who speaks against something and behind closed doors does the same thing. This song he wrote in 2016 and he is clearly coming from a place of remorse and understanding of what he did to his ex. In this song he was someone who was battling drug addiction, bi polar disorder, and morality. You can hear the mental struggle he was having with these three things in this song and what is most important is the aspect of redemption at the end. At the of the song he points out how he's learned from the destruction he was causing in his past, including the situation with his ex. I think Vic called out x bc maybe unlike most of us, he understands what it is like to be on the one inflicting physical pain on a woman and so because of his perspective he is hyperacutely aware of how wrong that is and he just felt strongly against anyone who lays their hand on a woman and shows completely no remorse.

...and I appreciate him calling out destructive behavior and defending woman who have been on the receiving end of domestic violence, honestly.

Perfectly said. Sadly you've most likely only wasted your time. No logical nor factual arguments can change blind hate. XXX's fangirls suffer from exactly that, blind hate.
@chriswebb49776 жыл бұрын
Xxxtentacion had mental struggles too and he changed more than that man could ever change. Jahseh changed physically and mentally and grew as a person, he became more mature and inspiring to a point where he touches peoples heart through his songs and lyrics allowing them to never give up and push forward and beat the mental health issues you’re dealing with. Vic called xxxtentacion out of spite and malice, he disrespected the dead. Where was all this talk when Jahseh was alive huh?

I attempted suicide in my youth, this song is the sound of my soul and place in life right now. I have no real desire to die anymore, I just have that feeling of helplessness that drags you down. Stick with your family. They will get you through anything that tries to hit you. Good luck Bro. Remember people really do care about others. Just gotta find the ones that ride or die with you.

Except he says the Chi made him who he was a few times on TLOP. Off the top, "For all he south side niggas who know me best" (Famous), "I'm a Chicago south sider, I'm a Chicago south sider" (Feedback), another lyric in which he says maybe the reason he can't shut up about things that bother him is (again) down to being from where he is from. If people don't know where he is from, that's a reflection of them, not him.
