I grew up with Victa as well, but its no longer Australian, owned by Briggs and Stratton now. The pole pruner is a pile of rubbish sadly, so is the Commando power head which came with it. Old fashioned motor running on 1:25 two stroke tuel. The extension pole will break after about 60 minutes use. Yesterday the pole pruner died after 10 minutes work, jammed gearbox. Hedge trimmer is good.

yeah i like Victa because its the Aussie Icon of Australia and have had my Memories with them and im Sure everyone had too and aslong as u use common sense by the Operators Manual u should be ok
