Its so crazy how M.Shadows and the crew just decided to switch up the lyrics from all these demos to more like a tribute to the REV after his passing. The skeleton of these demo songs its basically the same as the studio version but the lyrics change really reflect how they wanted to focus more to tribute the REV rather than whatever direction they were going prior to that event. And the lyrics, And ive being a victim of your crime to We're all just victims of a crime, changing from a singular and directed meaning to a more plural one reffering to the band, families and friends of the REV. Pretty stunning and amazing indeed.

I think they just didn't switch up the lyrics, they mumbled the lyrics just to figure out the arrangement for the final cut. Like memorising the arrangement on that particular song and re-writing the lyrics as it better fits. But yes, the whole album was tribute to the REV and SHADOWS did good with the lyrics!

@@gzyflanel Yeah true it was more placeholder stuff rather than final also i think these demos are from 09'. Pretty cool stuff indeed.

@@GoodHunter9 i mean you can say that but the Save Me demo it’s quite different The chorus is the bridge from the studio version so it’s not entirely true what you say but yeah they are mostly the same thing
