My parents gave me some excellent advice when I started dating. They said if you think you are in love and you are thinking about marriage, you need to date at least one year. And always ask questions and then ask follow up questions. Shannon’s Dad was right two months is not nearly long enough to know someone. Thankfully I followed my parents advice and they were correct.

I think it's also important to involve your parents and to have chaperones, ideally one who is a good judge of character and can spot red flags. Involve everyone in on the potential partner: friends, relatives, the Pastor and the congregation from Church. Ask lots of questions and make sure that the potential spouse is checking you out too. If he doesn't care to check you out that right there is a red flag.

This dude was a piece of work! Surprised he could even keep up with all the lies he told. I will never, ever understand how women can marry someone they have only known a couple of months. My Momma always told me "If it's too good to be true...RUN!"
@pamjarvis2318 Жыл бұрын
That can be true at times. It can equally be true that couples knows instantly they are ones for life quickly too. My hubby and I had married within months of meeting. We have been happily together for over 31 years of marriage and we have our beloved son! Every relationships has ups and downs in life normally and you work through it together no matter how long you had known each other. There are murderous people who seeks money gains off murdering their spouses and even their children through insurance payoff profits that you do definitely need to be wary of in life. Spouse and children murders can happen by premeditated murderous person that you had known for years or all of your own childhood into adulthood before marriages too. We do equally have premeditated murderous wives towards their husbands and their own children or/& their stepchildren around the world too! You don't equally fully know woman who you are marrying despite how long you had known her too. No one are mind readers to know what will happen in their future. You should lookout for misdeedly questionable signs of behaviors or decietful lies instead of ignoring it for its could be dangerous red flag tag signs for yourself and your children no matter if you are women or men. Both can be premeditated murderers looking out for life insurance money profit schemes of their victims in most spouse / family murder cases if you are not careful. ❤

Trying to listen to anyone when women 'think' they are in love is a waste of time. I married a handsome and charming man 12 years older than me. My brother knew him and told me NOT to marry him. I didn't listen and married him within 6 months of meeting him. My husband turned out to be domineering and authoritarian. I came to feel like a 'bug in a bottle' not able to escape out of the situation. Alas, I became pregnant twice in 14 months and had 2 children before I turned 21. Long story short, we ended our marriage after 17 long years and I had the taste of freedom at last. We just don't know who we are marrying in such a short time. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing rings true for many of us. Some are murderers as in this case.

His behaviour after his wife's death was extremely suspicious. He just couldn't contain his satisfaction he got rid of his wife and started to spend the money in head already the next morning. That was more suspicious than him before the tragedy. There are real nice men who are charming and they are decent people, although I agree with the commenters who said he was too good to be true and the marriage was rushed. Despicable piece of ...the guy was.

@@idemudiaodiagbe7879 Nope. To take a life insurance policy out an insurance company may need a medical examination to determine what coverage qualify for, the death benifit & the premium. The Golddigger that married my wealthy Alzheimer's Dad in his 90's tried to put a life insurance policy for a million dollars each on my husband & I. I had no idea until some guy came to the door & asked if we'd go in for blood & urine tests. I said Hell no were worth nothing alive No Way! Dad died she took everything & nobody knows where she is or what happened to her. I knew damn well she'd take my inheritance, but I wasn't expecting my life was in danger until the life insurance guy was at my door. I knew then at least I'm getting out alive.

I'm so confused because there didn't seem to be any signs of him abusing her (though I haven't watched the whole movie yet), except for lying and being angry her parents came he seems loving and then suddenly he just murders her. Why even bother to get married and then immidiatly just murder, so I understand if she didn't have enough time to see warning signs, though she should have waited with getting married.

I agree with you 100%! As a matter of fact on my search engine on KZbin I have typed in "lifetime movies from the 80's + 90's.. Movies from the 2000-2023 are absolutely the worst vids I ever seen. Camera switch's all over the place, everyone dresses like soap opera actors. Characters not important to the storyline. Then they get into the blab, into their own mistreated life of victim hood and on and on. You just get to the point of "just shut up and kill the guy" so we can watch how the police figure it out. New Wave movies suck.😅

Those poor parents, losing their only child! One of my daughters died a few years back and I have only been able to keep functioning because of my 2 remaining children. When you know that your daughter's death was because of her husband, it's a hard pill to swallow. In MY daughter's case, unfortunately, we were unable to prove his involvement. My daughter and I talked about how her husband was too good to be true right after they met, and he certainly proved us right soon after the marriage. The ink was hardly dry before the abuse started!
