This is so upsetting. People were just going about their lives at school and work. The shooter was a loser who took her weak frustrations out on innocent people. “My parents are divorced and I can’t handle it! Boohoo! Lemme harm those who have nothing to do with my misery.” I’m sick of sugarcoating this bs. I’m beyond pissed about the innocent people hurt in these school shootings. 😡 My deepest condolences to all that’s impacted. Such an unnecessary tragedy.

Repeated marriage and divorce, custody arrangements, therapy... not excusing what their daughter did in any way, but her family seemed unstable and dysfunctional. Her parents did not have a positive relationship and that was a source of mental/emotional trauma for a vulnerable teen like her. It's sad that her suffering caused her to act out the way she did prior to taking her own life, and it's also sad for the families of those she victimized.
