+Andrew McCauley This is simply a fallacious argument made in the most uncultured way. It is fallacious for the simple reason that it does not follow basic statistical reasoning. Infact it can be shown rather easily that given a set of tennis players and given the fact that umpires will make bad calls, a certain tiny minority of players will recieve disproportionately high number of bad calls. Mr. Troicki may represent the one extremum of this particular bell curve. To put it even more simply he may just be very unlucky. Of course we have all been wrong and there is no shame in that. But I am not so sure that there is a cure for being an uncultured dick.

Funny that you present yourself as a person who understands statistics, since you don't seem to realize that if you repeat the process enough times, all players will tend to get close to an average number of bad calls (all else being equal). They won't remain forever in those extremely lucky/unlucky minority groups, they will all tend to go towards the center of the bell curve the more games they play. Fyi, Troicki acts like a crybaby who doesn't understand that the outcome of a game rests in his overall performance, not on a freaking bad call from the umpire... Also, like you, he doesn't understand statistics, otherwise he wouldn't make such scenes, thinking that it's all a conspiracy against him.
