Let me be clear, there are no guarantees of what I'm about to say. His ceiling is the GOAT. Even with how incredibly gifted he is he'll need some luck in avoiding injuries and a few other things, but his play as a 20 year old shouldn't be possible even with his length. He seems to have a pretty deep understanding of NBA level ball already a little over halfway through his first season.

They'll surely do far better than this year but we're not realistically looking at a play-in/off spot next year. The team as a whole isn't good enough yet. They will be eventually but don't be shocked to find that the team that actually gets you to the playoffs will look a lot different than the current one. But you have a core that is forming.

The most insane thing about his performance, it's he is still time restricted. The moment he will play a full game I will not be surprise to wake up one day an learn he was the first to do a quintuple double officially in the NBA. And the day the spurs add great players that fit around him they most likely will create a legacy never seen before..

Victor puts up these numbers when you can tell that he is restricted from giving full effort. There are no hard bursts when he runs, he barely jumps, and his tempo is a very slow job. Very impressive.

that dunk on Poeltl at 2:25 is something only Wemby can do. NO other player in the league (or the WORLD) is dunking the ball in that situation .. off the jab step .. from that far away .. WITH A DEFENDER IN HIS FACE. unbelievable.

Wow, a triple-double with 10 blocks! That's an incredible achievement for any basketball player. Victor Wembanyama's performance must have been absolutely thrilling to watch. Blocking shots is such a vital part of defense in basketball, and to do it with such frequency really shows a high level of skill and athleticism. It's amazing to see players reaching new heights and setting such impressive records in the sport! 🏀✨
