I come from a farming family and we have known for generations that labour hate farmers and the rural community, and would never vote Labour no matter how bad things were. To show their ignorance Rachel Reeves turned up at a working farm during the election in a pair of bright white plimsoles straight from the box, how ridiculous is that? more worried about how she looked for her photo op than taking the time to really go round the farm and find out the problems and issues farmers face. This Gov claim to be the grown up's in the room, when the reality is they're the most pathetic group of ignorant student politicians EVER.

@@LogitecUK I am a farmer, now in Canada, formerly in Cumbria, and was coming to the London rally, but the short notice flight cost at $2600 changed that plan. My family and myself have benefited from the ability to pass land down the generations since my great grandfather was able to buy his farm from the then landlord in 1934. If I were still in Britain then my son and indeed grandson may well have been caught by this, yes, ignorant tax change. Labour has sadly proved to be a vindictive and envious party of misunderstanding, chasing capital from rural business without understanding it, it is highly unlikely any of the labour city dwellers who take their annual drive into the countryside on a sunny spring day and think farming is about blue skies and wealthy land owners, without understanding the risk, hard work and commitment that successful farming takes to be farm in these uncertain times. it would not be so painful if the money was then well spent and spent in rural communities but it will be spent in labour urban areas supporting communities that understand nothing about how food arrives on their plates- milk does not come from Tesco, broccoli does not come Sainsbury’s…. Labour equals more inequalities as it splits societies and communities. Shame on you.

@@LogitecUK A sequence of errors by North Lincs and Goole NHS trust continued and continue to be ignored even when I eventually complained. First of all they tried to cover it up, then they breached data protection law and then they told me that I was not entitled to any free treatment and so would now be billed for past and future treatment despite the fact that I was born here and have always lived and worked here and so paid taxes my entire working life. There is a scandal here and do not expect that I am the only one affected. They continue to deny me the simple surgery that would save me and would rather see me die. I can no longer live a normal life but there is simply no accountability whatsoever.

@@LogitecUK would that be the same farmers who supported Brexit? Or maybe the farmers who damage our roads and cause traffic congestion whilst being exempt from paying road tax for their vehicles, the vehicles they run on fuel which also has tax exemption. The self professed guardians of the countryside who deny public access but are happy to let the local hunt gallop all over it. I don’t have a high opinion of them
