Well technically brush TIM970 motors are still in the brel ABB units.... Just the iconic sounding GTO Thyristor drives were swapped for Hitachi IGBT VVVF drives. Thats why they sound different

moleman the class 373 is coming to train simulator, it's being made by just trains with a route from Ashford international to Lille, it's currently in development

It's being published by Just Trains, the developer is Atlantic High Speed and their previous route was pretty bad honestly, I don't have high hopes for it nor the 373, it'll be useful for AI but that's probably it

I love the slammers on this video going by, but its missing the refurbed class 411 to make it more authentic, shame there isn't one of those for TS. They are what I remember most from my time getting trains in Kent. I used to think that the NSE 411 (and I just about remember some in the jaffa livery) were newer than the 421/423, until i found out they were all refurbed :)

I don't remember the motors sounding like that.. but I grew up when these things were first introduced in 94-95 ; so I don't know if they've changed - the 365's on the Kings cross DLC sound way more authentic
