Victoria Falls known as the “Smoke that thunders” in the local Tonga language, is the largest single curtain of falling water in the world and 70% of the exquisite views are seen from the Zimbabwe rain forest. The other side of Victoria Falls

Very important information starting at 27:15, especially for Zimbabweans in the diaspora who earn hard currency. I am told you can buy shares remotely using brokers. Don't let the Chinese take this opportunity from you, yet again. Vic Falls as a city has a really good economy which is detached from the rest of Zim. And it is the most expensive tourist resort in Southern Africa. More expensive than Cape Town. So the shares will hold their their value.

Youre so right African Tigress. The falls are beautiful and the original name the tribes called this site is Mosi-oa-Tunya. Meaning the "The Smoke that Thunders." It was labeled as Victoria Falls when European explorers went and saw it and decided to name it after Queen Victoria. Like they try to always rename place. It's still Mosi-oa-Tunya people. Dont let Little Britain or anyone else change what we know to be our places. They can change their own names.

Come visit the land of your bantu relatives. You were stolen from our tribes in west, east and Southern Africa. Through ports in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria and Ghana. Don't let the British and Chinese enjoy your inheritance more than you, come and visit this beautiful place.

We need to revise the history books indeed. Just get for us the name of the guide who was assigned by the Local chief to take Livingstone around. Lets also document that part of the falls being a venue for rituals like rain making....

Liked the tour. OKs longer name used to be OK Bazaar. David Livingstone obviously was not the first to see the falls. The first may have been early hominids hundreds of thousands of years ago.

@@playgirl7305 asked G and this came up, meaning I'm off millions of years😋 ...The basalt plateau of Victoria Falls, over which the Zambezi River flows, was formed during the Jurassic Era, around 200 million years ago....

@@trilithon108 well I did not know that its so old! But in any case maybe the first ones to see it were a couple of dinosaurs. Hopefully one or two kid dinosaurs did not go for a swim and unfortunately fell over a 'cliff' down stream that he or she did not know about.

@@playgirl7305 maybe at that time the gorge was smaller and the kid dinos could play while adults drank the Zambezi waters.
