Victoria High Country - Mansfield to Dargo Pub - Part 2

I continue my 3 day Victoria High Country camping and 4wding adventure starting at Mansfield and finishing at Dargo Pub. Over 220kms of awesome 4X4 tracks. I check out Victorian High Country huts such as Howitt Plains Hut and Black Snake Creek Hut. I traverse Victorian High Country tracks such as Zeka Spur, Track Wonnangatta Track, Wombat Range Track, Cynthia Track and Crooked River Track. I am in the Victoria High Country in winter just as it is beginning to snow. My final night I camp at an excellent campground (Black Snake Creek Hut Campground) on the banks of the Wonnangatta River. Nothing better than quiet and relaxing camping !!!!

Awesome video, i grew up in Bonnie Doon and then moved to Delatite. We had horse’s and went up the mountains with our horses. Much faster in the car, i really enjoyed seeing the huts again, thank you for taking me home again. I wish i was there right now. Stay safe out there, i do hope you have a SAT phone or EPIRB. ❤❤❤❤

Some beautiful country out there, a bit disappointed at the end though, I used to visit Dago back in my younger days and I was hoping to see what it looked like now, great trip though thank you.

What a great way to showcase our amazing country side, the views were so stunning. I could feel the cold by watching you and surrounding ground. The creek crossings are something I really love doing too apart from going along all those wonderful tracks. I loved the video, good job , keep doing your adventures so I can come along with you in your videos. 👍👍

I think I did about 30 Creek crossing in just one day. Crooked River Track has so many!!

What month of the year was that? Great trip and good filming , keep up the good work . Winch , twin locked and big muddies for the next trip . Gives you the confidence to tackle the hard stuff.

It's a great route mate, I highly recommend it. There is seasonal gate closures on this route. You'll need to view the Vic High Country website

G'day mate, I have a standard sized fuel tank. I usually take a spare 20lt jerry with me in bigger trips. Cheers for watching 👍

Great question mate. I used over 3/4 of a tank from Mansfield to Dargo Pub, so approximately 55 litres from memory.
