Gisele is an incredible supermodel and she absolutely deserve her status. She's really pretty and incredible body and walk. But at the same time i honestly don't get the hype when it comes to her pretty face. Don't get me wrong i think she's very pretty. But not like absolutely magnificently pretty like people say. I think it is more important to have a great personality than being "the most beautiful girl in a neighbourhood" to succeed in this business. If fashion authorities like your personality and like working with you, they will book you for their next projects. Sometimes girls that are considered really pretty by average people can be self-conscious, insecure, have bad temper or just lack charisma, and their beauty won't make up for it. What about Gisele, I think she just has it all - she has beautiful face, great body, she is funny and energetic, she is a versatile model, and that's why she has always gotten the best work.
