I did this this morning!! I didn't use the Oribe products or do the curling + rolling stage, but I woke up with freshly washed hair, and curled layer by layer in opposite directions. During curling I used the R&Co. Foil Spray and the Kevin Murphy Young.Again oil and used a little hair spray at the end before flipping my hair around and got a very similar effect. Thank you for sharing this Romee!!

Ok. Let’s skip the rollers... to get this “beach look” all you need is root lift.... blow dry upside down... then spray each section with light spray before curling.... then a texture spray for the finished look. Easy as that. 😊

i dont really understand the point of the curlers when you just end up using the iron lol. it didnt give that much volume to the root... plus you can just tease the root

The point of the rollers wasn’t necessarily for volume at the root, it helps give volume at the root, but when you heat hair it takes about 20 minutes to “set” and when you allow the curls to set all rolled up in a roller(you can also use small metal clips) it keeps the curls from falling as much, especially if the hair normally doesn’t hold curl. If that makes sense
