Massaging faces does absolutely NOTHING for anti-aging if not harm it on the contrary, despite the popular belief. It's the same thing as saying BLUUUD FLOW can help preventing hairloss, etc. It's been debunked multiple times.

So many people in the comments talking about genetics and how she is naturally beautiful. This has nothing to do with any of that. It is about LYMPH DRAINAGE. Look it up. Its a self care that has an added benefit of beauty maybe. But I would def label it more self care than beauty. Chill on the comments about how you need genetics or injections to look like her. Thats like looking at a fit person telling you to do yoga and saying ehh I don't have their genetics or personal trainer. excuses. don't compare. be the best version of yourself.

You should have told your viewers that your routine is icing on the cake... You don’t look like that because of your routine, bone structure is genetic. I would go as far to say that from anecdotal perspective exercising regularly, sweating and eating lower sodium diet plus drinking allot of water does way more for lowering puffiness than rubbing your skin honestly

Honestly, all of these little “Guasha” face rollers (ones w/o vibes, LED or micro-current, ultrasound etc.) look like they can be replaced w/ an item that the store Daiso sells for $1.50. Or any item w/ a similar shape, material, thickness, and weight, that most of us already have at home. Obviously, it would need a good cleaning/disinfecting before use. For ex; a rounded shaped handle on a hair comb, spoon, or even a lightweight coaster. 😂 I’m not a dermatologist or an esthetician, but can anyone PLEASE explain how, why and what exactly can items like the Guasha do for the skin + lymphatic system, than your own friggin finger or a plastic spatula can’t do? 🤔 Cause, without that explanation- the only apparent difference is the marketing. 😂🤣
@nerinaarce124
@nerinaarce124 4 жыл бұрын
some gua sha items are made from stone of jade or metal. their shape is specifically designed to be gentle on the skin, the face muscles and lymph nodes. also, most of the people (almost everyone) uses them cold. that stone or metal things really keeps the items cold, not like a plastic spatula or even an spoon, they usually get warm quickly and you have to go to put them again in the fridge before you even finish. you can actually a loooooot of really really cheap options, too. i hope i helped.

and the ones that have like ultra things and they vibrate and all those things are really good! they activate the circulation of your blood on your face which is amazing, activates the muscles on your face, that helps to keep your face firm and your skin tight. like everything, there are a lot of products that actually are marketing and doesn't do anything really special. gua sha is a very old technique that really works if you know how to use it! give it a try 💖

I am an aesthetician and I can tell you there’s absolutely ZERO difference between using this and the back of a comb. Also, I use the back of my sonicare toothbrush to massage my skin if I want vibration. Seriously you don’t have to buy this crap. It’s useless when you can just use household appliances or your fingers.

Hoi Romee!

Do you HAVE to hold onto your chin and your skin in the place from which you start the release? Is it ok to use two guasha at the same time and do the same moves simultaneously symmetrically to save time? Eg. So you’re massaging both sides of the face at once?

Cool. you now have 1.11 followers! I did your face exercises step by step with my clear crystal last night - and today my skin is much more tight and moist than usual. I do have a Rosequarts roller and ice sponge that I use every morning, but these lymph strokes are so much more efficient. Thank you for sharing your research :) this is a step further. Tip for gemstone recharge: Remember to recharge your stones after cleansing them with running water. Humans and gemstones interact with the silicon dioxide we have in us and they consist of and energy: It can be requiring of time to charge it with all the love thoughts we can evoke, in a normal day, so I usually put on my favorite Song and let that energy come naturally while I dance around, touch my stones and all the people and things I love goes through my mind...

I actually make my own, using the DIY recipe listed on Minimalist Beauty blog for Rosehip & Carrot Seed Facial Serum (Google it) - I'm 29 with healthy skin but figured why not start using extra nutritious oils now. You can buy the organic oils on Amazon, they don't need to be the more expensive versions the website recommends. I literally don't use ANY soap or chemical filled expensive creams anymore, just rinse with water, exfoliate once per week, and apply this facial serum, and my skin has never been happier - I actually noticed it looked younger with just the serum alone. Now I gua sha after putting the serum on too! Honestly most of the expensive creams still have alcohol and chemicals in them which dry out your skin over the long term, and you can get all the vitamins you need from organic oils. This recipe cost me less than $75 to buy everything in bulk and it lasts months!

I don't know but it seems to me that all these skin stretching tools may actually give her wrinkles. How do u think wrinkles develop? By stretching the skin (frowning, laughing, pulling, etc.)
@itpaynesme
@itpaynesme 5 жыл бұрын
m there are different kinds of wrinkles though. Dynamic lines are from frowning & from creases formed but also as you age, your skin loses its elasticity and it’s ability to produce collagen & the increase in blood flow to the skin from the gua sha or facial massage (you don’t really need the tools but they do help) is what stimulates the production of collagen & helps the skin tone, tightness & helps combat the signs of aging. The loss of collagen & elasticity in the skin is what causes the skin to wrinkle over time because it isn’t as taut & plump as it used to be.

@@itpaynesme thanks. I never knew that's how it works. Luckily for me, I have a lot of melanin which really helps protect my skin from any signs of aging.😇

This is why it is so important to use facial oil when using these tools. When you use facial oils it make your skin slippy so that you're not pulling your skin. :)

I think you’re supposed to use the tool more flat on your skin and when you finish a stroke you stop on the lymph nodes and do a small massage with the tool to activate the nodes. 😘
