Shonagh, I've been a cosmetologist for over 30 years and I think I'm qualified to say " when you've got the gift YOU'VE GOT THE GIFT" and dearest, you've got the gift. I been an instructor as well, and know that if you ever stopped learning your craft or gaining knowledge , or learning from the next generation you might as well turn in your shears... What I'm trying to say is I'm thankful you are willing to share your knowledge and I pray I never stop learning from you...bless you, you are going far and will definitely make a mark in the craft😻
@ShonaghScott9 жыл бұрын
Marilyn Webster Marilyn that is so kind, thank you very much! I always respect other artists and cosmetologists, and I appreciate your words. I feel fortunate that I had an artistic Mum who helped me to find my path :)

Honey, your Mum is very proud of you, I'm sure. Ultimately, all we mothers want is for our babies to be who God meant them to be and for you to find peace and happiness. Hugs xoxo

Gorgeous hair! In Kazakhstan those curlers absolutely do not work on our hair 😁 our hair gets straight in seconds after curling 😄 but our solution is the "carrot" curler which works just great! I am wondering that in the UK and the US it's not widely spread 😳 have never seen any blogger using it 😳
@ShonaghScott9 жыл бұрын
Darya Kim Ooh I've never heard of it!! Do you have a link to it??
@daryakim75269 жыл бұрын
I am sure you know this kind of a curler) www.philips.co.in/c-p/HP8618_00/conical-curler this is the greatest one in my opinion)
@ShonaghScott9 жыл бұрын
Darya Kim Ahh, you are referring to a conical wand. Yes those are really good. I've got one at home that I use a lot.
@daryakim75269 жыл бұрын
In KZ we call it a "carrot curler" 😄😄😄
@mickphillips61079 жыл бұрын
Love your video. Your hair looks great and seemed really easy to.do. Just wondering if the wand would work on really thick and long hair to achieve that style.
@ShonaghScott9 жыл бұрын
Nina Vidal Yes, provided you leave your hair around the wand to heat up fully, and then pin it and leave to cool then it should be fine. If your hair is particularly straight then I would be inclined to use a setting spray on your hair first.

WOW these curls are beautiful. Quick question, the little clips you have where did you pick them up, they are the perfect size, My hair is long and around the same thickness as your hair, normal clips fall out but these look spot on :) xx
@ShonaghScott9 жыл бұрын
Claddagh Clad You can get them from a Sally's Claddagh. Be sure to put one either side of the curl as they will fall down otherwise :) xx

Gorgeous!!!!!!! 😍😍😍 My hair is up to my shoulders and i want bouncy voluminous hair... Any tips on how to achieve it?? Maybe a hair tutorial with someone shorter hair 🙈🙈🙈🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@ShonaghScott9 жыл бұрын
yourockzy You can do the same routine but adjust the size of the wand - smaller if you want tighter curls, or use the 32mm wand if you want less of a curl and more bounce big hair.
