Honestly Moarte has the right idea: spend most of the year sleeping, talking about comics, live rent free in the corner of a random reviewer's house. Good times. Honestly the characterisation of Moarte has been really strong this year. Sometimes I forget that he actually eats the flesh of the living, but not this year.

"So Holmes will only take on cases if they're not boring?" Yes, actually. That's the whole reason he's a consulting detective. He's so intelligent that he gets bored easily and needs nearly impossible cases to entertain himself. That or cocaine.

Given what I've heard about the book version of Holmes, turning down cases because they're too easy is 100% in character. Dude would do cocaine between cases just to keep the boredom at bay lol

I always ran under the assumption that if sherlock was anywhere near the jekyll and hyde story, he'd figure it out very quickly and the story would've ended early. This comic proved me other wise

I'm surprised this crossover doesn't get more attempts. I dunno, I just think there's a lot of potential in the great detective investigating the strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Aside from this, I think the only other one there is a novel that's literally called "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Holmes" which I have sadly not read as of yet, so I don't know if it's any good. Ah an interesting take on DID though I’m sure that Biology and Psychology don’t mix that way. Especially DID which is Stress related not something like Psychotics or Schozophernia (Which is Genetic (though good luck finding out if you got it).

Excellent work this month. Still though, it's a pity that you couldn't get round to reviewing 'The Purple Smurfs' this year. Maybe next year, or maybe it's not horror-themed enough for this series? In all fairness, it's a pretty scary story from a child's point-of-view. And doesn't Moarte address his audience as children? Then again, that could just be a figure of speech... 😅
