After seeing this video I went to my local target after work. I did see all the Jurassic World toys, all except for Ellie. I was surprised to see the vintage collection SW figures on the pegs.

I really hope to go hunt for some legacy characters and I also believe the spinosaurus is AMAZING! Him and the EXTREME Chompin' T-Rex are in my top 3 with the articulated indoraptor.

Very nice V! Glad you found that cache of JP stuff. I stopped by at a target and they had a few leftovers (mostly low demand dinos). I was really looking forward to finding the Grant and Ellie figures but all they had were the two different JW Starlord figures. I am tempted to pick up the stego but I have still been eyeing the Lost World one. Oh and I also picked up a snoke today and even got to pick the best paint apps between three snokes! Just like the old days haha. It was the first time I had seen the new VC line on the pegs. They had the rest of the wave minus the hoth trooper, which im not too interested in picking up.

Day 2 was even better! I went to two more Walmart stores, both of which were decently stocked, and then a Target, which had the best selection of them all. Of course, I ended up buying more stuff between the three. But I probably only have about a 1/3 of the entire line! Cool to hear you found Vintage. It's quite nice seeing them on the pegs again. Sure enough, while I was at that one Walmart shooting this video yesterday, some guy came and grabbed all the rest except for Jyn.

It was a frustrating day for this collector yesterday, as none of my local stores had any of the Jurassic stuff out (not even cleared space for it, either) and very, very little of the new SW stuff (no Vintage Collection anywhere). It's going to be very easy to come by most of this stuff in the coming weeks as stores begin restocking leading up to the movie release. Gallimimus from the original Kenner Jurassic Park line is a great figure but very hard to find in new condition. Same for the original Baryonyx.

How is the overall quality on the figures? Cheap plastic? Hollow? Do the joints feel like they’ll loosen quickly? Sorry for all the questions. It’s just that I really want to go crazy with the line (my stores haven’t put anything out yet), but I keep going back and forth on whether it’s worth it cause of my fear on the quality. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly I've only opened what you see in my most recent reviews. I've been very happy with the quality overall, and the toys feel much more durable than what Hasbro did a few years ago. I would suggest checking them out in stores when you can find them and judging for yourself. I'm very happy, though. And as a reviewer, I'm very picky about toys quite obviously.

Walmart doesn’t care in my area. Target was mostly a hit for me but picked over. Toys R Us closing and leaving Walmart to get the kids toys...no wonder Amazon is getting all the business.

I'm definitely interested in getting everything, but all in due time. I'm trying to mostly focus on the exclusives and whatever catches my eye the most at the moment. Glad your son is loving the toys! As for the peg holes, I think they're just sticking to the way this packaging has always looked.
