Thank you for your time. The explorer has been part of my EDC since the early 90's. I am a plant engineer and I have been caught in a pinch and bailed out by this guy once or twice let's just say lol. I did take the liberty of adding an eyeglass screwdriver that fits in the corkscrew, and a lanyard just big enough to fit my pinky on the lanyard ring (this helps with potential slipping). Also, I added a pocket clip to the lanyard. This makes it ride down the seam of my pocket- out of the way. Another thing I'd like to point out is the magnifying glass is so helpful in the event of a sliver. I'm old. Just trust me. Good luck to you. And thanks again for your time. Subscribing!

I've recently purchased my 1st explorer, having many a Victorinox, I think the Explorer is a main contender in EDC carry.I've found over the 35 + yrs of carrying Victorinox, is two compliment one another well,,,I always carry a champ , with a handyman or deluxe tinker, on top of a Explorer or fieldmaster/ Huntsmam, ,,,then,,, there's smaller victorinox on key chains, torches,1st aid, on,and on,lol,,,,,,

Use your imagination man. The hook can be used for various things as shown on another KZbin video. It’s not just for carrying things as it can be used to pull and tighten things. 😉

Nice video... 101g or 3.5 oz though... You were heavy on the weight of this knife and for EDC .5 oz is a lot. Just saying
