Great review, I’ve actually had this on my list for camping for a while, that serrated blade will be excellent for food prep. I have a leatherman skeletool which I use for camping and motorcycle toolkit usage, but the blade is not so great for food prep as food gets stuck in the holes in the blade, v annoying. This one though would be excellent for cutting bread, cheese, veg while also being generally useful. As for UK regulations, if it’s packed away among bike tools or camping food kit I’m sure it would be fine. Thanks

@@marcusrichardson3472 good bit of kit with added advantage for camp use of locking blade.. personally, I think if packed within camping gear or cook kit on a camping trip this would be sufficient ‘good reason’ to have possession and justify the legal system.. obviously not advice just my own personal view on use. I’ll be carrying on future trips 👍🏻

@@anthonysalter9573 yes, I’d agree.. funnily enough as I’m going through a series of reviews for the channel I now have too much choice at home 😂 but love every single knife I’ve bought and this one is excellent for my wild camping 👍🏻

I've got the Forster, a great knife, but it's just in a draw now because it isn't UK EDC legal. Shame SAKs don't just make a version with a slightly shorter blade that isn't locking and then it's EDC legal. Yep I could take the Forester camping but it's not worth the hassle
