it won't merge for a few years. USFL is 100% owned by Fox vs XFL who is partnered with NFL so one side would have to sell (probably the one 100% owned by 1 entity) it for any merger to happen and i don't see either giving it up yet.

Merging and then being able to sign nfl 2nd and 3rd stringers or anyone the teams want to develop and have an udfa draft pool would be awesome

It would be AWESOME to see a 16 team D-League! 8 team playoff. Football all across would get better. Gives undrafted guys another chance. Gives college studs more time to mature and learn pro-style football.

Today the BattleHawks were the Greatest Show on Turf. Just so reminiscent of the high scoring St. Louis Rams teams of Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, Tori Holt, and Marshall Faulk. The packed crowd at The Dome going crazy just like the old days. Was that AJ Mc Carron or Kurt Warner out there today? Thank you Rock for bringing back Football to St. Louis. St. Louis should still be in the NFL but that was all on Stan Kroenke wanting the large TV market of L.A..

@@encycl07pedia- I think you are being much too hard on Orlando. They were an improving team as seen by their recent win over the DC Defenders for their only loss. Only pin point passes by AJ Mc Carron and great catches by receivers made the difference since they were mostly pretty well covered..

@@larryloveless2967 Yeah, from O-6 to 1-9 is a huge improvement... They gave up over 50 points in this game. Real "improvement." The Guardians are a disgrace to the entire state of Florida. Even the Jaguars would beat them easily.

@@Editinggenius2005 Don't try to gaslight people. Reality says otherwise. Any game, even blowouts, can be close for a half. That means nothing. You might as well say the score was tied 0-0 at the beginning, too. Also it makes no sense for the losing team to "let off the pedal*." It's not like tanking is going to get you better players. Bacicly? Petal? Then? How did you manage to spell competitive and unfortunate?

Lets for example say the score is 21-28 in the 3rd quarter and you throw an int... You know the other team is hard to stop but u can also keep up score for score. You make playoffs either way as well. Any good coach would rest their players, try some stuff you did in practice to test and be less aggressive cause its not worth trying to make up 2 tds down 21-35. It just isnt worth the risk when all u gain is respect. Ofc there is another quarter left which is why 53 points spawned to make this look bad. In a nut shell this was a bye week they let slide cause its just the smart thing to do. It was competitve and both teams played hard when it mattered. Now before you spout your opinion on sports and get angry when someone points on your sped id try to study the sport and educate your self. (damn long ass explaination mb just tryna teach)

@danieljones2247 Nope that's some bullshit. Plenty of ridiculous talent isn't given a chance for a while, and you obviously never hear about those who never get one. Look at Adam Thielen. Statistically the 3rd best Vikings receiver behind Moss and Carter, and he was a UDFA who avoided a career selling dental equipment. y the skin of his teeth. People will get looks playing in this league, and some will get signed. Like PJ Walker. Plenty of teams are needy at certain positions. Anecdotally, the Vikings, IMO could use some depth at WR, I think they genuinely could use Sheppard or Lucky Jackson as a WR3

@Daniel Jones remember when Tom Brady was a 6th round pick and JaMarcus Russell was 1st overall, as well as Romo being undrafted? Talented players get passed up all the time because the combine and playing in a stacked program can hide the faults of a player. Just like playing in a no-name school could make scouts not care about their stat line. Obviously, it's the goal of 95% of these players to make so much as the practice squad. The best players from the XFL and USFL just want their chance.
