I was at a Nebraska Tailgate party in Boulder for this game. (My brother and I are CU fans.) we were the only CU fans there out of around 2000 people. When CU started coming back we started cheering and someone said “GO HOME!” To which I replied; “We’re in BOULDER!!!” Then a different Nebraska fan chimed in with “he’s got a point!!!” Best game ever.

Even being at this game, I never lost faith in the buffs, I knew we were going to win a week before. First half was horrible, but wearing them out worked out for it payed off. Most adrenaline and excitement I've had in my life. Skoooooooo ooooo Buffs!!!!!!! Lavinska is getting drafted when he graduates.

Fun Story: As students my friend, his now ex, and I at the time left at halftime cause Cu couldn't move the ball past midfield, we were down multiple scores, and none of us could stand seeing Nebraska win in our stadium. Few seconds after we got out of the stadium Magnum runs it in. Few minutes after that we heard a huge roar. It was the 96 yard flee flicker.

I used to fix a sandwich with leftover turkey at halftime of this game every year as a kid. Black Friday, on ABC, without fail, and before Bill Callahan came along it usually had an influence on the Big 12 title. Back then, Texas and Texas A&M played the other half of the double header, and it was great.

Colorado and Nebraska have another home and away game with each other starting in 3 or 4 years. They should just start an agreement between themselves that they will play each other 4x for every 10 yrs. CU and NU have always been in great games over the years.

My brother and I were watching this at a Colorado Rapids tail gate, some guys had it on the radio, the radio was like 1 or 2 minutes faster than the stream, they started going nuts so we new something big had happened, we started shouting for them to shut up just as Nebraska missed the feald goal.

I remember being at this game as senior at Colorado. An all time great game. Really a bummer to see how far both schools fell. Can’t wait to see both their futures and hopefully Colorado 3 peats on Sept. 9th in Boulder, Colorado.
