I just bought an 8 ball. It's an incredible ride. The look of the bike is breathtaking. Thanks to this video which convinced me to buy one.

That's cool to hear. This video was just a fun little project we did on a Sunday afternoon and were only expecting a few hundred views. Today it's closing in on 100,000! It sucks that Victory stopped production of their bikes. Take care of that Hammer 8 Ball, it's a rare beauty now.

Great video for a great bike!! I'm 2014 Hammer 8 Ball happy owner, and i'm just in love with this bike. It's perfect to cruise on the road of France.

You nailed it with this vid and part 2. I'm leaning towards this or v-vrod. But the way this vid is cut and track is making want to ride it. This is how all Bike commercials should be done.

What's the suspension like on this model? I have owned the HD Heritage Softail Classic and Electra Glide Classic and I thoroughly enjoy the smoothness of the touring chasis over the style of the softail chasis. How would you say this model performs? Thanks.
@1wallymack9 жыл бұрын
David Kelly I'm no expert, but I can tell you that I've been on a HD Rocker C, Fat Bob and Breakout and the suspension is very similar to those three bikes. It's not stiff at all. It's very comfortable and can handle bumps and small potholes with ease.

Hello, I have noticed that many Victory owners remove the Victory badging from their bikes, yet you dont see Harley Davidson owners doing that. Im interested why that is. This is not a critisism Im just curious. Nice Bike! I will look for part 2. Ride safe.

Man, that's a wicked machine- I was pretty set on a V8B but I think I have to consider the Hammer now as well. Dig that helmt too- What model is that?
@1wallymack10 жыл бұрын
I wish they put the front end of the Vegas on the Hammer. Although it really doesn't matter since everyone sees the backend when I'm on the road , ha, ha. It's a HJC model RPS-10. It's a great helmet!
@crashjust4kix10 жыл бұрын
Like a jackpot but in 8-ball trim? that could be kinda bad ass. I always kind of liked the inverted front end though, and after seeing "project evil-8" in a mag I got it in my head that the whole victory line should have been offered with the hammer/kp forks, or at least that wider wheel like some of the vegas guys are alreay doing on their own... Thanks for the heads up on the helmet btw (no pun intended)- Being discontinued I'm finding some nice closeout deals on them, I'll probably save at least 50-80 bucks over the new rpha-10 if i can try one for fit locally.

is it hard in turns at slow speeds with that big wheel in back
@ewewell8 жыл бұрын
by the way that bike is phat
@1wallymack8 жыл бұрын
It's not hard to turn at all. I think it's just as easy to maneuver in turns as a bike with a normal size rear tire. The foot pegs is what you have to worry about. They're kinda low and you have to be careful not to scrape them.

@danniecarmona25099 жыл бұрын
1wallymack Do you think the Hammer would make a good first bike?
@1wallymack9 жыл бұрын
dannie carmona This is my first. The first few thousand miles is a little intimidating because it is a powerful engine. 106 ci is a nice sized engine for a cruiser. After 5000 miles you'll have to confidence to open up the throttle every chance you get! If you start off with a smaller bike, you will definitely regret it later.
@danniecarmona25099 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks a lot i really appreciate your advise. Any regrets in going with your bike at all? or going with Victory instead of Harley?
@1wallymack9 жыл бұрын
dannie carmona No regrets at all. The design of the Hammer and the reliability of Victory bikes is what sold me. I would also consider the Suzuki M109R and the Harley Night Rod. You can't go wrong with either one. They're all great muscle cruisers. Go to your local dealership and check them out and compare them! Good luck!
