The 2 big reasons I would want this controller are for the fightpad and the clutch system for triggers. On the other hand my wife is already mad I have the 2 pro Xbox controllers I’ve already got to game with on my Xbox.

Until there is an update, using it wired is the way to go, the dongle is very inconsistent especially in fps games causing delayed movement, input lag etc, when wired, those issues are non-existent. I did experiment with different ports and even tried pairing it at different times with no luck. My recommendation is to go wired for any game that is somewhat competitive, at least until the dongle receives an update!

I can confirm , this new XB Pro BFG and the XB Gambit are hands down the best fighting game pads ever created. However, you can tell the Pro BFG has a more solid build quality than the Gambit.

Hitting buttons that stop game play inna tournament makes u forfeit in fighting games because its base in momentum ..conditioning a player..having them back into a corner and increasing pressure... A pause stops all that ..ir makes u drop a huge combo .. giving a olayer chance to catch themselves mentally... Its quite a simple and very smart rule ..the player can take the round or continue to play ...it depends on the person.. lock features are common in some fight sticks

I caved and got this after falling in love with the gambit so much so I bought 3 more gambits new on standby. Ironically, I accidentally broke off the gambits right trigger from fall damage with a direct hit on the trigger. Rip OG Gambit. However, the bfg pro is a step up in overall build quality, it’s substantially improved not perfect. Just like you mentioned those rear buttons are the most comfortable layout imo. Thanks Kevin ❤

I’ll give you my honest 1 star Amazon review: I was really excited to try this controller after watching many KZbin reviews. The colour scheme matched the whole aesthetic of my pc setup, the idea of being able to remap the back paddles on the fly without the need for software sounded brilliant. The fight pad was really nice to use for Street Fighter. All seemed like I was buying the perfect controller… However without doing proper research about the interchangeable modules I ordered this without knowing you can’t order the modules separately… you would expect to be able to buy replacement modules in event of getting stick drift or sunken buttons, but you just can’t. Needing a whole new controller just because one of the modules have gone faulty seems idiotic to me. The analogue sticks are useable, but they are not the best you can get, they are not hall effect joysticks. Also, you can’t adjust the response “curves” for the analogue sticks like you can on other pro controller’s software. The trigger stops “work” but they are not great either, if set to the minimum (mouse clicks) they are wayyy too easy to press I found that I had to fine tune them to about 25% just so I could rest my fingers on them without them actuating. That being said, after fine tuning them to where I needed them to be it was quite easy to reset them back to mouse clicks in game by accident because my fingers accidentally would flick the locking mechanism. Which was also a problem as the deadzone set for how you needed them would now be out of bounds rendering them temporarily useless. Conclusion: It’s a great controller for beat-em-ups like street fighter, but if you’re using it for competitive first person shooters or an all rounder, there are just much better controllers out there around this price point. It’s not worth spending the money on this controller with this many issues. I like the aesthetic and functionality of this controller, it was just poorly executed in my honest opinion. If Victrix fix all these issues with a new and improved controller in the future, I will definitely consider buying… but the Victrix Pro BFG as it stands gets a big fat no from me 👎🏽

Love your videos! Thank you. Just wanted to note, that Dolby Atmos Virtual Surround and all other virtual surround sound processing works on any stereo audio signal. It's just a pass-through signal. Anything saying it's "certified" for something like Dolby Atmos is a marketing gimmick. The audio is going out as a stereo signal, they use psychoacoustics to trick your brain into perceiving it as 3 dimensional sound.

Hi Gamer Heaven, the video is interesting, like all the ones you make, you're great! I tried the AKNES Gulikit KK3 Max controller and still in 2024 there is no perfect controller, the worst defects of this controller are in 1st place the shot because you have to press more than necessary to operate it, which means that at a competitive level it is not good . a light touch would have been appreciated like esports controllers like scuf and also the dual core victrix. in 2nd place are the A B X membrane keys which do not work as well as they should. Everything else is very good, we appreciate the RGB, the levers, the grip of the triggers and handles and above all the 0.97ms of cable delay, we hope they will drop even further with the next gen.

I just picked this controller up after your review. For some reason, my mic sounds bad (underwater) after about 5 mins and does it ever 5 mins after I unplug it and blow into the mic. This fixes the issue for about 5 minutes. I also tried other mics. Same issue. Kind of upset I paid so much and my mic can’t properly work with it

I'd be intrigued for you to review the razor v2 pro again because these are the only two Xbox style PS5 controllers. Got a PS5 to play helldivers because of my brother peer pressuring me. And for whatever bizarre reason the PS5 controller hurts my hand and wrist I don't know why but apparently it's an issue with some people. So my choice after for a week going through different controllers I ended up buying the BFG and razor V2 to try to figure out which one I like. Ended up going with the razor because those third shoulder button is the best thing ever on a controller. But it is 100% $50 overpriced. And last they gave you more shit with it but even then. My main issue is you get random disconnection lag from time to time It's not terrible but when you're playing like helldivers where there's shit coming at you non-stop or you're playing a competitive shooter you're going to get fucked. But it'll fix itself in a second or two and or just swap USB ports really quick and it fixes it. Annoying but I got to deal with it because I can't use the PS5 controller. I had to send one back already because the joystick started squeaking like a old wheel. Those are my issues with the razor controller. The BFG it was a little too bulky for me and I got average hands I guess It just felt a tattoo bulky and made it uncomfortable to hold for long periods. But the main issue I have with it is it's triggers are way too sensitive, like you look at it in the wrong way the trigger activates. I like the rest my finger between the bumper and the trigger and just by doing that activist figure even though you're not even pushing down on me yet. And I just bought this both his controllers like 2 weeks ago FYI. But BFG two sensitive for me razor some disconnection issues for a second or two maybe every 2 hours maybe for 2 or 3 seconds. If I don't swap the USB port it seems to happen more frequently but if I just swap the USB for it the dongles in only every couple hours which I can deal with. But regardless I would love a comparison review or another re-review just to see what your opinion is comparing the two again in 2024

I actually finally did the firmware update for the razor V2 pro. Haven't had a single disconnection lag yet. Played for about 5 hours. Usually I get at least one with in that time. I'll keep you updated

So I requested a replacement through warranty and thought I wasnt ever gonna see that controller again considering how I wasnt getting any response from support after sending it in. took over a month to get it it back but it was brand new fortunately 🔥

Stick drift is not a myth I’ve had 5 elite controllers over the years. They are the best controller to me but develope stick drift just out of warranty almost every time.
