**REDACTION** My apologies,I originally said the left module cannot be rotated (to have sticks asymmetrical vs symmetrical), a mistake on my part, it can (thank you @stingaarshark6159 for the correction). I didn't align my module properly and assumed it couldn't be done. Correction, the left module can be rotated, the right cannot. The video will be updated to not cause further confusion. Thank you.

@@CraftBasti It would've been a neat and unique feature for sure! I find it's unfortunate that they didn't design it that way because for the right people, that would've been gamechanger as there are little to no options to do so.

Except for their locked 125hz polling rate...lol I Loved the feel of this roller for the price. I came from Scuffs and BB my whole comp fps life. When they died and I didn't want to wait 6 - 8 weeks to get my roller back, I found the $70 Gambit by them and LOVED IT. After seeing the BFG I thought, I love this little 500hz, four button roller so much, that their premium pro roller has to be 10x better. Well, it was in every category but the latency. It's atrociously slow. Way behind my stock PS4 rollers and four times slower than my Gambit. I 110% felt the sluggish difference. Also the average rates were all over the place from 8 - 12 ms on testing. My stock Xbox One controller held a constant 8 ms at least. So, this is a Ps5 controller somehow slower than a standard Xbox controller. I went back to the Gambit and just waiting on a BB now. lol

I couldn’t really tell so forgive me if this was already answered, but can the bumpers and triggers be configured into L3 and R3 buttons? Example, the HORI Fighting Commander turns what would be L1 and L2 into L3 and R3.

I do believe so, I haven't tested the exact example that you put in but in the software, you can remap basically every button, there are no reasons why this wouldn't work.

The only thing that bothers me is the lack of a vibration option. Why not just make it something you can turn on or off?
@GameTechTalk2 ай бұрын
The idea behind it is that many pro players want the controller to be as light as possible. With that said, I've opened PS5 controllers, I saw the haptic motor, it's deceivingly small, despite still holding "some" weight. In short, they made a controller for a specific market, I can't blame them. Still, I am of the same opinion as you, I wish it was still part of that product.

Hey man, I recently got the Elite v2 controller for fighting games and had that controller essentially die on me with the bumpers not being responsive and half the paddle buttons on the back losing sensitivity too. I was wondering if you think this is a good alternative for that in respects to fighting games. It looks like it meets all the criteria I'm looking for but I'm curious on how the sensitivity for the D PAD is. Specifically the diagonal inputs. I always struggle to hit those cleanly on the elite, it either doesn't register or goes from diagonal briefly to side or down input, which really messes up combos and what not. So how does the diagonal feel? I saw some DP's when you were playing street fighter, how does that feel? Smooth? Thanks for the review though!
@GameTechTalkАй бұрын
It was surprisingly good, especially using the d-pad that the controller comes default with. I wasn’t expecting the result I got. The gliding was smooth, the precision was shockingly good, paired with that FightPad, it’s a fighting game dream if being honest. In fact, I’d say the Victrix is the best elite controller I’ve used for fighting games, and it is much better at being elite for those than it is for shooters, it’s great for that too don’t get me wrong, just, it’s unique and phenomenal for fighting games.

@GameTechTalk2 ай бұрын
I would guarantee so, as it is licensed by Microsoft themselves, with that said, so does this one, as long as you are on the PC mode. Steam sees it as an X-Input controller, that's pretty much a near flawless compatibility over any of the popular storefronts. Outside of much older games, I wouldn't have any concerns. If you wish to play on PS4 or PS5 mode (to have the buttons match), that's where your mileage may vary.
@DejayTheDon27 күн бұрын
When using this controller for fighting games especially street fighter 6 it shows major flaws. The triggers are a pain. They are super sensitive to the touch. And you can change the sensitivity but that means adjusting the trigger stops which sounds like a good idea. No. Mid match the slightest touch on the sliders for the trigger stops can make them go off. Meaning you are mid match trying to hit the trigger and it doesn't work, or you're fighting to get the trigger stop back into the the spot you had it. For other games this controller does the job though. I actually love this controller but the trigger stops is what really kills me.
@GameTechTalk26 күн бұрын
They have some of the aggressive-most trigger switches, I get what you're saying. The sensitivity on this thing is bonker, I don't think it even has half a millimeter of travel distance. Feels like I could blow wind and actuate them with that... So yeah, accidentle pushes are prone, at least for me, I'm twitchy when I play. That's why I find the 6-buttons array to be my preferred method, personally.

🫡 I wonder when their hall effect modules are gonna be back in stock because for owners of this game controller, it's pretty much a necessary buy from where I stand, the clarity of those sticks are ::chefskiss::. It's arguably some of the best hall sensors I've seen but we are a bit held back by no curve adjustment and 125hz polling rate. I wonder if they could software correct any of those two in the future, that would make this controller that much more better if the latency can stay amazing.
