Hello, red and yellow wires are used to provide power (+12V) to your headunit. 1. Ensure you have the correct adaptor, that fits your new headunit and car's wireharness. 2. ISO connector has the following decomposition: red wire for constant power (i.e. there must be always +12V) yellow wire should have +12V when ACC is on (ignition key to first position) You can get this +12V ACC from different places (e.g. saloon light). Easy way would be to join yellow and red one (i.e. yellow wire would have always +12V as red one), but (IMPORTANT!!) headunit auto switch off may NOT work this way. In other words - headunit is "watching" for ACC +12V, when it's lost (you have switched the engine off, left the car), headunit will switch off. So, if you will join yellow wire to red one, do not forget to switch the headunit manually every time you leave the car, otherwise running stereo will flat down your battery. Hope it's clear now.

Hi, no I can't. In theory it is possible, but as you correctly mentioned, you need separate adaptor to use steering wheel control buttons (vol- vol+ mute etc...) Best way for you would be asking your car dvd manufacturer, they will advise smth that will fit your car. Another way around would be visit to professional car dvd store and ask. There are lots of these adaptors... And be sure to buy not the simple one (that gives you only ACC signal when you switch the ignition on).

Добрый день! В данном случае - нет, не работает. Для возможности подключения подрулевого выключателя требуется специальный адаптер. И не всякая 2 дин магнитола вообще поддерживает данную функцию. Я покупал 2 дин магнитолу за 3000 рублей, и знал на что шел ))).

Рамку смотрел в том же АудиоПитере, но она НЕ!! подошла. Придется колхозить... ПС. Имейте в виду что все пользователи жалуются на качество встроенного микрофона, он просто никакой... Я покупал чтобы балалайка была и в качестве монитора для заднего хода. С этим проблем нет. Музыку через синий зуб тянет отлично, видео с камеры тож. ППС. Если нужны доп видео - пишите, могу сделать.

Hi mate, it is so called "ISO adaptor". In other words - original stereo is connected to Peugeot specific power/speakers connector AND antenna connector. They normally NOT fit 2DIN stereo you are thinking of now (or smth else). So you need these 2 adaptors. Refer to attached link: www.audio-piter.ru/catalog/razemy-i-perehodniki-dlya-magnitol It's in Russian (Google will help), this is to get your feet wet which adaptor you need. In case of questions - I'm open.

Yeah, looks like it will fit. So the route will look like this: yours Peugeot 307 original connector (goes with wire harness in your car) -> ISO adaptor (purchased from link above, for example) -> 2Din stereo. Notes (important): 1. you need to ensure that aftermarket stereo you want to fit has ISO socket (some brand named stereos have unique sockets). 2. some rework may be needed for ISO adaptor - refer to instruction manual, this is really important!! 3. you will also need antenna adaptor as well. 4. steering wheel (behind it actually) radio control may be lost (or needed extra adaptor).

Yeah it does have an ISO socket, it should fit. I will get that and the antenna adaptor. I will see where that gets me for now, I'm not too bothered about the steering wheel control at the minute, that could be for another day. Thanks for all your help!

Ok, good luck pal! Don't forget to plug the rear view camera in, and also the face frame for stereo. I did it all by myself, it took me around 2 days (considering zero experience with this activity).

Если речь про переходник от штатного разъема Пежо на 2 дин, то купил его в АудиоПитере, стоил он рублей 400. Могу поделиться своим горьким опытом - в данном переходнике были перепутаны провода питания, из-за чего сгорел усилок антенны, поторопился, доверился и не проверил. За что получил по щщам. .

Yeah, this is why I've posted this video. The reason of bad sound quality is burnt antenna amplifier.

original sounds better but it does not look as good as 2din :) so it is your choose which one you prefer: design or sound. :)
