Great video of a seldom documented railway. I would love to get back up there. The one and only time I was up there was back around 1990 and all of the power was MLW and ALCO. It was a great trip. Rock On!!! GB

+Green Bastard Thanks for the good comments! As a railfan, I consider myself lucky to have the RS in my surroundings, as traffic is quite intense almost continually. However, considering the shortness of the system, which is 40.86 miles long for all four subdivisions together, I'm starting of lacking of spots. Besides, there's not much traffic on the CN Lac-St-Jean sub nearby my location; - VIA 600 departing from Jonquière to Montréal Tuesday and Thursday at 08:10 AM; - VIA 602 departing from Jonquière to Montréal Sunday at 11:10 AM; - VIA 601 arriving at Jonquière from Montréal Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 05:10 PM or more likely later, - No VIA Saturday; - CN 556 arriving daily at Arvida from Chambord in mid-morning, departing from Arvida to Chambord in late morning; - CN 588 arriving daily at Arvida from Chambord in late evening, departing from Arvida in early small hours. Both CN's do somes jobs in their comings and goings. I look forward to see new traffic on the new line to Grande-Anse, as it will bring something new to put in my future videos. Maybe we will see CN power on the RS or maybe completely new power from a new company, that would be great! At least, if RS get the contract to pull the new tonnage, the face of traffic on the RS will change quite a bit anyway. If you plan to come railfanning here someday, let me know. Il se pourrait que je me sois trouvé sur des terrains privés! Ces terrains ont déjà beaucoup de circulation, des gens qui passent en VTT ou en motoneige, et ils ne font pas de mal. Ce sont vraiment des endroits très paisibles.
