1:49 I was aware of the problem with this "protected" intersection, but your video shows another issue I hadn't considered. There are people waiting to cross the street standing in the road AND they're partially obscured by the utility pole. If you navigated the intersection as intended you'd come dangerously close to them. I'm also really not a fan of the separated straight vs. right-turning "sub-lanes" at these new intersections. Our lanes are so narrow that it just seems unnecessary.

Dude, I thought you'd gone to visit Down Under, and brought your bike. Then I looked up Adelaide, ON, Canada, and that wasn't right. Finally I figured out it's the street name, from the construction signs. Oh. Ha!
