I used liquid Imodium when I had my Parkes Pouch put in 30 years ago. Liquids are obsorbed more easily by a persons body. try it, hope it works for you. I live a normal life to a huge extent, but stopped coffee completly.

Sorry so long to get back to you. I was out of the country for a few days! It's a NEW normal feeling for having a bowel movement...well, I guess that depends on how bad your Colitis is/was. It doesn't feel like having a normal, formed bowel movement but at least for me, I do still get that "relief" feeling after going to the bathroom. Does that answer your question?

A tip : watch series on InstaFlixxer. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies these days.

Hey Staff 66! VERY sorry to be taking SO LONG to respond! I'm actually doing AMAZING which explains WHY I don't check this email address/channel comments very much anymore. I SHOULD be better about it, but I guess it's a REALLY good sign and it means I'm out LIVING MY LIFE! I'm HOPING to make an updated video soon as this April will be 5 years since my take-down. I hope YOU are doing well! I would say it probably took me a GOOD 6 months to 1 year to get used to "the new plumbing" and how food/liquid affect things, if/when to use Imodium, etc.
