this is how the horse should be, no bit, no spurs and no saddle. if the horse can perform any high dressage tricks without any of the stuff we put on them then why it is not allowed to ride naturally in shows? probably many of the riders dont have a close close bond with the horses they are working with and they know that without those objects they cannot control the horses, afraid is what we are. if they were dedicated anything could be achieved. i quit having riding classs because of things i learned of what bits can do to a horse, next time i ride a horse will be my own when i get one

They don't really hurt the horses as long as you put everything on right for riding lessons that is. Don't quit something you love! Plus they get used to the bits. Now I'm just telling you but what you wrote is YOUR opinion.

Some horses need more contact than others and some horses are a little more friskey than others so with a bit theres a bit more control, and you can use a soft bit like a softer snaffle bit

no, thats just good! If you build it step to step, its good for the horse, he stretch all his muscles! :) But if you dont do it on a good training way, that it isnt good. Its totally natural, when horses stretch themself its the same! :)
