What exactly does the 8:30 min figure measure? You can't just focus on travel time on one street without taking into account the effect is has on traffic on other streets. Hand picking statistics is often worse than not showing data at all. It makes nonsense narratives sound serious.

i would suggest at the lights, stop all cyclists and pedestrian traffic on a green light and let the cars turn and go forward and at the red light, let the cyclists and pedestrians go by. much easier that way. I believe bloor/yonge has a similar system

"our clients they can't park like before" ...yeah, now they can park during rush hour too... plus, they could have had more parking but they wanted the left turn lanes so... don't blame it on the bike lane, blame it on the extra turn lanes, I really don't think they help traffic flow anyway

you can tell citynews is a very biased fascist news journalism... i have talked to numerous drivers about these bike lanes and all agree its a preety bad idea and they feel very unsafe. city news will actually go out of there way to find people to agree and support "There story" leaving key points out and not giving clear information on how studies are taken out...
