hope you’re feeling somewhat better now. at least you managed to get up and eat something that’s already a lot and I’m proud of you for doing so when you feel shitty. I’m glad the video could give you the motivation for it, that’s actually amazing.. 🥹🫶

Lovely video again! I still am trying to get the hang of common-placing, but I just think it's not for me :x Yours looks so neat! Loved seeing the forest clips, those trees with the colors leaves on them are so pretty!

ah, thank you so much! I sometimes doubt if those clips are too boring, but then I try to remember that I want to film and show whatever I find pretty or what I would like to watch, so for you telling me you liked watching those clips generally warms my heart. maybe there is another system that works better for you? for me it works so well, basically everything I want to keep and write down goes in there and the sticker system makes it easier. thank you so much for your lovely comment 🤍

yayy i love hedgehogs! funny thing about those dot stickers for indexing, my mum keeps buying them for me whenever she sees them now even though my commonplacing/journaling isn't set up in a way that works for me right now xD i wrote a comment about being curious what you were looking at about AAC use so THANK YOU for including the link (i intended to use a text to speech app on my phone this year - specifically for my doctors appointments and other really stressful times when i struggle to speak or have "insufficient" speech even though i'm forcing myself to try to make words - but as much as i loved it and thought it could be useful for me, i also felt very embarrassed so i stopped using it 😔) every video i think "YOUR CAT. LOOKS SO SNUGGLY" PS - cooking is SO hard for me, i understand that too well (i found out as an adult that my body can not process gluten so it has been very difficult adjusting to cooking differently and not being able to eat so many things that i used to/easy to find things even though it has been a few years now)

the hedgehog comes everyday and the first time I saw one I cried. I’ve been trying to get my garden nice and comfortable for them and finally after 4 years they found it, I might show some footage in my next video. also that is so sweet of you mum to think of you and buy them (even though you might not use them if I understand correctly). thank you for letting me know that you’ve tried a text to speech app. In the article they did some recommendations if I remembered correctly that trying to use the aac at home with people you trust is a good way to start and build up from there, I’m going to try that route and hopefully I feel comfortable enough one day to use them at appointments too. I really want to because speaking can be so difficult and I’m not able to force the words out of my mouth like I could before burning out. I’m curious about the new iOS 17 feature aac which you can set up with your own voice. I still need to figure out how to get started though. I will tell my cats :) that’s next level difficult that you have to leave out certain foods that you might love.. that’s hard! thank you so so much for your lovely comment 🤍

It would be cool if next time we can also hear the actual sound of nature and your journaling from your videos. (just a suggestion, i don't want to seem demanding i love your channel!
@kimanna_
@kimanna_ Жыл бұрын
ah thank you :)! I try to capture the sounds, but I only have my phone to film and it doesn’t always capture the best sounds. I’d the sound is good enough I will use the natural sounds as much as possible. I hope you can hear them sometimes in the video? I edit with my Airpods in so I can listen to it carefully, but now I’m wondering if it works. could you let me know if you hear some sounds at all, besides the music?

I personally love the music :) and this week I had to use it more. I live directly next to the road and it is extra busy because of some road works. I can’t avoid these things unfortunately. I personally love the natural sounds and I really try to capture them, but I can’t force it to be perfect for now. Thank you for responding so quickly and for letting me know :)

How were you late diagnosed autistic adult? How old were you when diagnosed? Did you suspect something was wrong? I'm not intruding forgive me if I'm doing so. I'm curious if you dont mind me asking.
@kimanna_
@kimanna_ Жыл бұрын
I think I might share more in a later video about this topic, but I was 28 when I got diagnosed and the journey began when someone else thought I was highly sensitive, then some years later I suspected I might be autistic. I don’t know if ‘wrong’ is the right word, but at least I felt like I was getting answers to why I was struggling so much with life in general. :) if you have more questions feel free to ask them and I might make it a topic for a video later :)🫶
