Anytime I love mine...just wish I don't have to pull it to recharge...other then that Eufy makes outstanding products... They sent me there Touch Sensor wifi keyless entry and I'm using it now Love it...Review coming soon 👍

I've had the eufy battery door bell for about a year, and it's fantastic ! I figured that burglars are lazy, and wouldn't take the time to hack my codes, and just move on...do I did put my sticker up, close to the doorbell ! In the initial set up, I had a little trouble syncing everything with my Wi-Fi, but once figured out, it was great ! Definitely recommend it !!

Is Eufy better than the ROKU Wireless doorbell I have narrowed it down to these 2 I know u can watch the Roku camera on the Roku channel on your tv

A few of my neighbours have purchased wifi jammers/deauthorize tools so my wifi doorbell has to be replaced with POE doorbell. I do like my old doorbell when it works.

Did you have any issues connecting the door bell to the chime? Mine won't connect...going crazy trying to find a solution, I've contacted support but based on what I've read...I shall be returning it 😭

Eufy does not sell the battery separately so after 2 to 4 yeaes you will need to replace the whole door bell.

Not sure about that, but even if you had to replace the unit every few years, it would still be cheaper than other brands, cause there is no subscription charge !

@@GregAkers not going to agree with this. Ring subscription cost $240 over 4 years in Australia, I doubt eufy battery will last after 4 years. You have no other choice but to replace the whole unit as eufy does not sell batteries.

@@skidrow-black The eufy doorbell that I have cost $99.00, and I've had it for two years ! The eufy 2K model cost $199.00 ! ( No problems so far, except I have to recharge the battery about every 2 weeks, I let it get down to about 60%, and then recharge ...I could wait longer ! ) Eufy does offer a subscription, to store your recordings, for a longer period, but I'm not in it...the non subscription stores a day of recordings, and erases at midnight, and starts over !

I know that this could be a dump question but, If for some reason there is not power electricity the camera will still have the battery on but any video will not be recorded .. right?

This may be a dumb question but if it’s plugged in charging will the doorbell still function? I ask cause my doorbell wires are not powered, but there is enough of a hole through the wall I could put a micro USB through to the doorbell….thus I could I have it constantly powered and not need to take it off to charge it. It would just be easier to put it up and not have to worry about charging it, without having to re-wire the existing doorbell wiring.

my eufy Homebase 2 does make a sound but my wireless chime doesn't make a sound when someone pressed the doorbell, i put the chime upstairs and my homebase 2 is downstairs in the garage, so I couldn't hear if I got visitor pressing the doorbell, did I do anything wrong? do i need the micro SD card installed in order to get the sound? (according to what you mentioned at 6:00) i need help! Thank you

You say in your video to insert the micro SD card before you sync the device or it wont work, but in the comments you say it will be fine inserted after. Which is it ? I set mine up before getting a card.

LifeHackster has done videos comparing both... he said there's not much of a big difference... 2k has better video quality but has a delay when it comes to 2 way talking... it just depends on what's important to you

First of all thank you so much for your detailed video. I do have a quick question / issue on Homebase2 connection to my router. I do have tp-link Deco X20 mesh system, when I try to connect my homebase2 with the internet , it has blue blinking light only and then I could see error message "Network Exception, please try again later." With an error screen titled "Unable to add HoemBase2". Could you please help me out? I tried everything reset, unplug power cable, router restart, reset button on homebase2 but it just keep blinking blue led. Help would be highly appreciated 🙏🏼

Make sure you enter your password when it asks for you to connect to wifi I had to physically enter my password for it to work 😉
