Youre totally right about it seeming calmer and stripped down but there is so much thought put into it! He said that filming with the cars was hard and alittle scary because all he heard was loud noises behind him so he couldnt tell how close they were, and the fact that all he heard were the cars he couldnt hear the music so getting on beat was a challenge.

Although, the song "Chicken Noodle Soup" is so much a part of the Black community, it had a major impact on JHope and Becky G . JHope said is was one of the first songs that was used in his dance class in Korea when he was young and it was also a favorite of Becky G (thus the diversity in the video was inevitable). For example, in the original song, Young B says where she was born in Harlem....JHope picks up on that in his remake by naming the area he grew up in Korea as his "Harlem". The entire video is JHope's way of paying homage to a song from his childhood and I loved how they did this. Also, I know it is not the first multilingual song ( Korean, English, Spanish) but I think it is one of the best!!! (Love how you break everything down and yes I subscribed!)

11:25 this is actually a pretty common BTS thing to do, if you watch videos like Dope or Save me and some other video you see a similar concept, and then if you watch the making of them you can watch them running with the cameras, so this was a pretty normal shot for Jhope 😊

Loved the dive into "Where did he come from?" I've seen this video MANY times and never thought about it. J-Hope said they did the long shots repeatedly, and Becky was up for it all. Perfectionism at its best.

That chicken car is from the "Chicken Shack'" a real restaurant .1030 Aviation Blvd, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 I have a friend out there she said its the best chicken around.

They shoot quite a lot of MV in LA and surrounding area. Black Swan and both version of ON videos are done in the Los Angeles and surrounding area. They shot the MV in Jan 2020,( both Black Swan and ON)

Hi, this is a hiphop and pop song/mv, just cause there's a korean rapper, doesn't make it kpop. Korean artist does not equal kpop. Same with dwaechita, that's pure rap/trap video. Other than that, i appreciate ur experts opinions on editing, they are interesting.
