This MV is about being trapped by music industry. Isn't a cocoon, it's a statue from Louvre named Nike of Samothrace. It represents victory but the statue isn't complete in the video. She doesn't have legs because she "can't walk on her own" . She doesn't have arms because she "can't defend herself" . She has no head because she can't "think or command" . The original wings were removed and replaced by black wings, representing the industry. Why we liked that? Don't know too.

I heard from the Jolly channel that the reference used for that wings hanging in the intro is 'Deus ex machina' and the girls were playing as furies/godesses of vengeance that could rip out a man to death. Then the scene wherein rosé is laying on a bed of flowers while constantly being dragged down, is the reenactment of Hades abducting Persephone (his wife) while she's picking flowers in some garden. There's the theory that I've got about this MV. Previously, I have seen on a yt channel (I forgot the name of the channel), he/she explained that the statue in HYLT MV is a sculpture of Themis, which in Greek mythology is the Goddess of Justice, and Themis usually depicted with wings and covered his eyes with cloth (like the blindfold used by Jisoo in the MV). This theory is reinforced by the lyrics "Look up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane!". This is a famous quote that was used as the opening of the film Superman in 1941. Interestingly, after I do some more searching about the quotes, I got thay the quotes are intended to inspire an entire generation with his (Superman) dedication to "truth and justice." Related right? After knowing this fact, I could not sleep, like seriously, everyone must know about this. If anyone wants to add, maybe we can share with each other. Sorry for my bad English

Like at the start he saying the flowers is to represent a "better place" compared to the "dark dungeon", is just an allusion to Persephone and Hades.
