But, spiritually if YOU have the Holy Ghost you won't curse why, because the Holy Ghost will keep you from cursing, smoking, adultery and all those things that the Bible name as a sin. God was touching his heart here i could really see it. and i know how it is.. i know where steve was coming from about his ma. my family is full of problems, my dad got sentenced 15 to 20 years when i was only 7 years old. my mother was a very bad alcoholic.. my brothers where abusive like my mother. and i was just a miserable person, and i was ignorant i didn't believe in god. but one day in church i prayed to him asking for forgiveness of my sins..

I don't normally watch TBN (they have some really wacky televangelists on there), but just happened to catch the intro bit where he introduces Jesus. What a spectacular testimony. Find the full bit and watch it. Steve Harvey is a GREAT comedian, but he's an even better witness for Christ. If this doesn't move you, you need to make sure you still have a pulse.

He ends each of his radio shows with the message "don't forget to pray, prayer changes everything". He's the only one reaching out to a secular audience, trying to make a difference. Once steve said "god is good and my mother said..... " and i saw him start crying and heard his pain, I felt that entire speech he said.
