What’s crazy is that when you look at the poster of the kings of comedy, Bernie was billed last because he wasn’t as known as the other 3 at the time. Steve, Cedric, and DL were all starting on sitcoms at the time. And yet Bernie was definitely the best one which led to his own tv show (and his role in the Oceans trilogy)

The thing I remember most about watching get the Kings in the theater was that my face hurt while Bernie was working. I was literally trying to smooth out my cheeks with my hands while tears were streaming down them. That delivery, oh man! He could've been talking jibberish up there and it wouldn't have mattered.

Steve hated and was jealous of Bernie, which caused animosity between them for years... I'm pretty sure Bernie wouldn't have wanted him up there to represent him.
@walterwhite13 ай бұрын
Why was he jealous?
@dbabies823 ай бұрын
@@walterwhite1 Steve supposedly helped create the Kings of Comedy, so he was suppose to be the end comedian, that closed out the show (headliner/closing act)... but after the others joined, it was decided that Bernie would be the closing act (showing he was the funniest and most entertaining). He was just way funnier, which is why his segment was way more memorable and why they created a whole show out of his story. Then afterwards, Bernie started rolling with the A listers. He started being in blockbusters and extremely popular movies, with top actors/actresses. Steve would find out his roles, and then behind his back, tried to get producers to pick him instead. Of course it got back to Bernie and no one would choose Steve over Bernie. Steve made a good host, but as a regular comedian, he's just not funny. He needs other people to play his jokes off of, which is why they made him a host on Kings of Comedy instead of giving him his own full segment.

Still today there a piece missing in this world with him gone. But THANK GOD he left the world, his family, his friends, loved ones and his fans an incredible legacy. I just watched The Original Kings Of Comedy again and it never fails that I'm always waiting on him to come on and when he does I clap and smile and know I'm about to laugh my ass off no matter how many times I've already seen it. He, in my opinion, was the originator of the mic drop. 🤜🏿🎤 You see it when he finishes his set he drops the mic like the King he is. That's how you know that he knows he killed it. Thank you Bernie Mac for the joy you gave us and may you continue to rest in Heaven. 🙏🏼💕

Steve and Bernie was beefing. Steve knows how to play the audience for sure.
@keshahunt14765 жыл бұрын
Just because they was beefing doesn't mean the love wasn't real, it's normal for friends to fight but the fact that Bernie wife wanted them all to speak let's you know the friendship and love was real and the bond was strong

So was Tupac and Snoop before Pac died yet his mom told Snoop that Pac still loved him and wanted Snoop to know Pac didn't hate him, Steve may be alot of things but those guys were brothers and I'm sure if Bernie would've lived longer he and Steve would have squashed whatever issue they had with each other but we all know Bernie was funnier than all the other guys!!

Me, and I ain’t feeling his bullshit. Even before Katt, the way he treated his wife Mary and even took their son Wynton from her and let that tramp wife of his now mistreat him. Yes, Steve is that snake.

This, right here, is the reason why Steve Harvey is the greatest comedians ever. He's eulogizing one of his best friends, to lighten the mood for others, in front of all of these people, while he's in pain.

Steve Harvey? IS he a comedian? Funny....I NEVER knew that... NOT funny at all! Especially, not compared to the rest of them. Bernie Mac, and now Kat Williams.... PERIOD!!
