@@SpoiltLittlePrincess yeap don't give up just yet. Making video games are so much more than just being good at drawing or designing. There are very non-visual aspects like script writing, designing game flow and programming. Even on the visual side, it can be a lot more technical and artistic. Most assets in video game visuals are designed by a top few, then asset designers referenced heavily and use very specific tools to create the effects that the company wants. The room for creativity and artistry is actually quite scarce. Smaller indie company designers might need to take up multiple roles in the design process, but bigger companies have more specified roles. So pick what works for you...

I saw a short from this video earlier and I’m curious if this video was edited down a bit cause in the short Gianmarco made a really good joke about “mild OCD” being the scientific term for Jewish, which seemed to prompt the “I got the autism” comment from the audience member, and I got kind of confused watching this video where it seems totally unprompted lol. It seems like a lot of the struggles of autism are with ambiguity. Videogames are designed to provide unambiguous instantaneous feedback. If a videogame makes someone say "wtf, why did I die?" or "what could I have done?" the game designer has failed.

However, it's absolutely rich with systems, experimentation, optimization, etc. and I could definitely see a large number of those on the spectrum playing it to exploit and "solve" all those things.
