This is why I stopped watching Joe Rogan after he interviewed Chuck Palahniuk who wrote fight club, so one of the best dark humour writers around and all Joe wanted him to talk about was censorship, but Chuck knows it's no worse now than 2 decades ago and personnally for him as a ga y writer it was actually harder back then. At one point Chuck was telling a story of how he offended someone in an improv class he was at and Joe was like she should get over herself and Chuck a human being with emotions was like no I felt really bad, I tell jokes for people to laugh at, if people get upset especially the people you are telling the joke too, it's not a joke. Chuck was just too intelligent and empathetic for Rogan.

I listened to his interview with Anna Lembke. She is a brilliant psychiatrist who specializes in addiction. He kept wanting to steer the conversation away from her points to talk about psychedelics. This might sound weird but I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now and it’s been great to watch you grow both literally and metaphorically. Your video content is great and at least on the surface, you’re maturing well and look confident, and I hope you are!! Thanks for a great video from a transmasc who has been debating over going through potential pregnancy in the future with my wife. 💖

The grift to the right that he made makes me really sad. Like 10 years ago he was a normal person and a decent comedian. Now he has just a shill of himself.

I don't know about The weed critique. I mean that is part of his brand. I don't know if he already shed that part of his fandom.

Using The Art of War quotes as transitions to build this video’s narrative was a brilliant idea! *[audience erupts in cheer]* doubly fitting as Rogan was not only at war with his audience during this set, but also himself. This video was dope and probably one of my favorites you’ve put out this year. Hope 2024 closes out well for you!

22:20 to 22:25 Anyone else hear an audience member yell "Transphobe" during that long pause Joe did? I think maybe he got called out?

22:40 - Wait, he was talking about trans women in that bit? I assumed he was talking about trans men, since, y'know, they are men who sometimes get pregnant and breastfeed. Egg on my face for assuming he would correctly gender someone. Ugh

I went to see a comedian last night and the stuff about confident people not being super loud is so true. Both the main and support act were very restrained in when they chose to yell for emphasis when they were doing bits and it was effective. That seems like comedy 101, but lil Joey over there doesn't seem to have learned it yet. Sad.

I love how you create your videos!! And I was so focused on what you were saying next and how you set up the end that I was like shocked when the video stopped!! Very well made!!! Can't wait to see what you do next!!!

Saying transitioning for oneself is more akin to the metaphorical boat burning is actually so profound, I love that so much

Hey I want to say you make some damn good content. You have very insightful viewpoints/ opinions and you bring attention to very important topics. It’s great to be drunk watching this video of Joe Rogan embracing himself.

there's so much here that i can *almost* see what he's going for. like, the president of the lake bit; more than once ive heard other comedians compare alien abduction stories to catch-and-release. however, those other comedians build up to that with at least a short anecdote. they don't just start saying shit

I was wondering, if Joe was high on something, based on his eyes, his body movements, and the excessive sweating. Sounds like you’re fairly positive that it was more than just nerves. I bow to your expertise. I am fairly straight edged.
