idk if anyone's mentioned it, but Fallen Aces 415 is actually a double egg. It's referencing the iconic 451 door code, and also the game Gloomwood wherein there is a hidden safe at the beginning that if you input 451, the safe will explode and hurt you, but 415 will unlock it. Gloomwood is also published by the same group as Fallen Aces, New Blood Interactive.

Unsure if it’s a reference, but the stealth immersive sim Gloomwood, also by new blood interactive, uses 415 for a safe near the start of the game as well. Both are obvious parodies of 451, but it could be a direct reference as well.

Agree with some on what can be seen as "overused". If it's something like an event or item. Yes. But if its just in relations to it but not a reference to either of those, then no. Examples: Back to the Future: Having a Deloroeon fly/speed off an leaving fire trails, have it in a random cave and covered up behind boards. (Overused) Showing off Einstein's doghouse, or a reference to Dr. Browns dog. (Not Overused as it was just referer to his dog) Now had they placed the dog in a car that zooms off and left fire trails (like in the first movie). Yes, due to it still showing the car doing the same thing as in previous games.

For the overused Easter egg, I feel like it depends on the property. Some movies, tv shows, and video games have multiple references that can be overused. Using portal as an example, there are things like the cake is a lie, the companion cube, and the cores are used a pretty good amount. In cases like Castaway, they just reference Wilson. So, I would say it could be considered overused if the joke itself is used often, but not if the joke isn’t as reused.

WaifuDoom is a reference to the famous NSFW mod for the original Doom games, HDoom. The soap is also not an Ultrakill reference - it's a reference to DUSK, in which the soap is the most damaging weapon. This was just _also_ referenced in Ultrakill. Selaco also has an amazing reference to incarcerated boomershooter reviewer Civvie11 - you can find the entrance to his cell (from an old intro on his channel) and the cell itself, and there are teddy bears placed across the game called Teddy11. These can not only be unlocked as a weapon, but are also voiced by the man himself! As for the Overused Easter Eggs - I'd definitely say that it's just the _reference_ that's overused, not the media itself that's being references.

A deadly bar of soap is a reference to DUSK, not ULTRAKILL (which also was referencing DUSK). And there's a lot more in Fallen Aces not mentioned here. There's a Big John action figure, a meme rat, a recreation of the scene of John Travolta walking out of the bathroom in Pulp Fiction etc. But the biggest reference is in plain sight. The main character's name is Mike Thane. He's a noir thriller detective whose story is narrated through stylised comic book cutscenes. He was being watched and photographed from the flat across the road. When alerted, goons sometimes shout "IT'S THANE, WHACK 'EM!" or "HERE COMES THE PAIN IN THE BUTT". Get it? Don't answer that. A rhetorical question.

Overused Easter Eggs should be the particular references themselves, like referencing "I am your father" for Star Wars or a bullet time dodge for Matrix. I recently came across what I think was a combination of two overused easter eggs that imho partly made up for the overusage. In Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, you can see posters saying "There's always cake at Hivory Towers" (Hivory Towers being the hub world of the first Yooka-Laylee game). I think this is a combination of "The cake is a lie" from the Portal games and "There's always money in the banana stand" from Arrested Development.
