Easily our best week out hunting for games at the thrift! Insane haul from Goodwill including some premium titles like Mario, Pokemon and a super rare game that I never see! Craziest part of it all was we paid $1 dollar a piece for most of these! Incredible week out there at the thrift stores with plenty of things to flip on ebay as well to continue to build the game fund up! Fire Emblem is one of my favorite series. I still don’t have that one, but I bought Path of Radiance on GameCube in college. So glad I got that back when it was like $40.

@@buildyourcomputer I know! The last time I went to mine was 3 days ago, this was the *first* time I've actually seen *any* video game stuff. An overpriced Atari Pacman AtGames Blast ($4.something, I picked up others in that series on clearance at Walmart for $4.88 new) and Wii Balance Board for $14.97... I found one online from Goodwill in Seattle (I'm outside of Cleveland, OH) for cheaper, free shipping *and* Wii Fit!

Great haul!! this past weekend I cleared out a GameStop before they closed. got crazy good deals. everything from sealed ps5 games and switch for $15 to used Xbox 360 and ps3 games for 10 cents

I like that you show your receipts, example sold listings, what you find as you're in the stores, etc. etc. etc., as proof of how it is going for you, but it is all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. I have gone out searching around my area here in SoCal and man! I just don't find any similar sweet finds as yours. But I appreciate all the info that you post up and any that help you out with tips, as you state in your videos. I will continue searching in my area.

Hey Rick. Awesome score!! Since adopting your game hunting method I have found some killer deals!! Best ones so far was 3s company complete dvd series(minus season 5) paid $35 for all of it and sold it for $190! Then I found a n64 with expansion, 2 OEM controller, and mario 64,donkey kong 64, and mario kart 64, all for $50. I couldn't believe it. Kept what I wanted and sold the rest! Made a killing on it

My local area has a game store, and Dollar, Tree that both sell movies for $1 a piece and that's how I've gotten 80% of my movie collection so far, 600 movies from Avengers to Disney to Horror Movies

One of those games had a blue sticker while all the rest had a green sticker. That's why the one game was $2 and all the rest were only $1.

@@retrorick Pretty scummy you took advantage of a legit mistake by the staff member then. Had she overcharged I'm sure you would have pointed it out to her. If people want to pay eBay prices after you've hunted out these games and DVD's for cheap that's a fair deal, but taking 12 dollars from a charity that you frequent is really low.

Those Midnite Movie double features usually go for a decent amount. $20 can't beat that. How the West was Fun!!! What a find. One of my 2 favorite Mary-Kate and Ashley movies. That and Double Double Toil and Trouble also worth a decent amount. I've never seen either in the wild for less than $40. Those Wii deals were awesome. Great video as always!!

Wow. My best find and one of my only good finds for a while was a black 3ds boxed. I booted it up and checked the downloadable games and there was the 20 free retro games you got if you bought the 3ds while it was still 250. All for about 50 bucks. They didn’t even have an account on there yet so I guess they literally never played it. Immaculate as well.

Glad I watched this because I have the he man complete remake still sealed and it's worth $80 used. I'll have to dig it out. I sold the 30th with the castle a few years ago for decent money. I got that on clearance and never opened it because it was numbered and I knew that one would be worth money but never thought the $9 remake would skyrocket. So many dvds are worth a ton when they go out of print.

I bought the ultimate find this week. I work at a local thrift store here in Kansas that sells things really really cheap. I found an original game boy in the case with Zelda links awakening, AND 4 GBA games. They were Zelda four swords, Zelda Minish cap, battleship/risk/clue, and battle bots. ONLY $1.25 AFTER TAX. I need to clean the GB up and try to get it to work.

I know your big encouragement to people is that game hunting is not dead and you can still build a game collection on a budget from places like Goodwill. In my experience all the Goodwills around me sell online so if anything even has the potential to be valuable it immediately goes to their online auction sites and never hits store shelves. You and I are more alike than you could possibly imagine Retro Rick. :) And trust me...I have learned some valuable tips from your treasure hunts so please keep these awesome videos coming man! Congrats on your *AMAZING* haul as well. Like you, I rarely come across a find like that (the most recent great find for me was Rhythm Heaven Fever for $3! I figured the game was worth maybe $25-30 so I was BLOWN away when I found out how much its value was today) and it's such an amazing high for sure. I'm just like you in regards to those rare Fire Emblem games too! I would love to eventually play the GameCube and Wii FE games but $80-100 is a pretty high asking price. Maybe I will get lucky and snag them for super cheap at Goodwill too. That's why we treasure hunt, right? For finds like that! And I see you've discovered the joy of finding rare and valuable DVDs, eh? Way to go! And you couldn't be more right my friend. Most DVDs are worthless but it's that 8-10% that make the hunts worth the time. And you are doing everything right in regards to CDs as well. My greatest find possibly EVER was a haul of 12-15 brand new, shrink-wrapped PS1 games last year and they were in the CD SECTION for $4.50 each! G-Darius was the greatest value of the bunch (sold it for $285!) so always, always, ALWAYS check those CDs. You'll find PS1 games every once in a while and who knows? Maybe you'll stumble across that Tron Bonne game or something ultra rare? ;) Thanks so much for sharing these videos man. They bring a smile to my face every single time.

This week I found switch games from $5 to $10, 360 games for $0.03, 3ds games for $1, ps4 games for $5 and a wii u game for $1 at my local walmart, I would say it's been a really good week for me
