It's incredible how Kirby Forgor just nailed the transition to 3D flawlessly. It really is the Mario 64 of Kirby, or maybe the Ocarina of Time of Kirby since Scott claimed that Zelda transitioned closer to 1:1 compared to Mario and Kirby Forgor is very similar in structure to 2D Kirby games

I will have "We Went 3D a Generation Too Soon" carved into my tombstone, I've been saying it so long. I'll always remember when I first booted up Guilty Gear for the PS1, and just kinda getting...MAD. Cause we could've had these incredible, gorgeous 2D characters in RPGs, beat 'em ups, shooters, and more, but...instead, we got block people with colors mapped on them simulating textures because "the FUTURE is 3D!!!!"
