I used to live in New Haven, right at the edge of what I was told was the most dangerous neighborhood in New Haven. Less than 4 months after I moved away from that area, police found a pair of severed human legs wrapped in plastic behind the sign at the train station, which was in walking distance from that house I had been staying at. Really makes me feel guilty about all the time my then-fiancé spent at that house just to be closer to me because I worked nights fulltime.

2006 was the year one came at me and some friends with a chainsaw. He had an old chicken coop shack built from wood and a few cages with just a tiny butchers table. Dude was wearing like swamp overalls, boots, apron and goggles. Either the dude was wearing a football helmet or it was a melon head i mean we were nothing but 12-14 year olds about six of us in the deep woods on the Pequonnock River Valley State Park The bike trails. You have to enter the path from behind the gas station go all the way through "part 1" then the path is broken by whiteny avenue but cross the street and that puts you in "rock parlor park" just before "old mine park" get to the wooden bridge that winds left and if you head off thr main path you will be bound to find stuff. Velvet and Dracula dr have gotten to hot but there probably are some still around the areas mentioned above. Grew up 10 minutes from the trail and theres nothing but woods in CT kind of like the same way there are homeless cities in the swamps here in my current home of FL

this is a true story.. driving by Union cemetery in Easton one sunny day and I see a guy in the cemetery walking around snapping photos with an iPhone.. so I pull over and it turns out to be my cousin John! I asked him what the heck he was doing? he said.. taking photos of ghost.. I rolled my eyes and said oh yeah right! no look on my camera I was here with my sister and wife early October bright sunny day and I snapped these photos check out the spirits! sure enough right by the pillars / gate . was two full size apparitions a woman and a man with a beard. dressed in old fashioned clothes! you could see through them but they were right there in the photo! JOHN showed me.. five other photos that had spirits in them.. they were full size apparitions but only 3 and 1/2 ft tall! . one look like a priest with a priest collar.. another one look like dressed in a civil war outfit. you look at the photos and you see one where they blurry anomaly.. into the center of the blurry anomaly and you will see the spirit/ ghost ! .. I then saw a photo of something that scared the hell out of me! it was a face just above one of the older tombstones it had the face of a skull and long white hair! it's eyes were reflecting the sunlight though! staring straight at the camera! told my cousin I'm never going in that cemetery again for fear that something will attach itself and follow me home! don't laugh this is absolutely true and I am scared to go back there ever again! I am not the type to get scared!

I actually visited Union cemetery to take photos for a college course on digital photography years ago. I didn’t catch a glimpse of the white lady although when I went to one of the church graveyards in Redding I took a photo of two gravestones and when I displayed the photo in class there was an orb between them.
@kmterpin2 жыл бұрын
Went there one night 25 yrs ago w/ some people I was visiting bc one said they’d seen an apparition by a gravestone & felt it might reappear at night. It didn’t, but no matter. I believed them anyway since I once had my own extremely-haunted experience at Fort Stamford, in Stamford.

I went to Union Cemetery in the summer of 2019 with a friend of mine and we smelled this really beautiful fragrance at one point when there were absolutely no flowers around or anything. Just bushes and tombstones. It was a really nice experience. We thanked whoever it was who said hi and when we were leaving we said our goodbyes and wished them well and to rest in peace and that was it. Nothing scary or horrifying. Nothing attaching itself to us. Just a sweet hello and welcome ☺️❤️

My grandmother lived on this road all her life my mom was raised here and I was up until we moved to ut in '98 anyways there was a room that was so haunted my grandma boarded it up and called it the ghost room we weren't allowed to go in there. There would be things that happened in that house that my aunts and Grandma still will not tell me to talk about. I remember being young and always having a weird feeling and my sister saw a little boy in that house. The mild things my grandma would tell me about what happened in that house was that she would hear someone walking outside and smell cigarette smoke during the middle of the night. I also know that that little boy would visit my aunt as well but they will not go into detail. What's really creepy is sometimes I still have nightmares about being trapped in that house
